I was traveling with four teen age girls to the outlets in Lee Massachussetts over spring break. We stayed at the Yankee Inn and they were wonderful. We had connecting rooms and the place was spotless. They gave great advice on dining and had alot of information and coupons in the lobby for area attractions and restaurants. We swam, relaxed, and enjoyed our stay. 10 minutes from great shopping, 10 minutes to Ben adn Jerrys, a beautiful ride and a great hotel. the price was so reasonable for us to get two rooms. We ate at Patricks Pub in downtown Pittfield and the food was great too. The staff was polite, accomodating and caring. One of the teens left soething behind (of course!) and they called us right away so we could come back and get it. They couldn't have been nicer.

I am currently in temp living with my new company and had a terrible time finding suitable temp living in this area. My initial research into this establishment left me wary but the place could not have been more accommodating and helpful. My only issue would be the noise level - seems to be a rather rowdy bunch at night near me, but getting a comfortable (with a porch/deck) room with a kitchen and a very reasonable price makes it worthwhile.

My wife and I took our 3 kids to Jiminy Peak for ski lessons over the Feb break. It turned out to be a great choice. It was very inexpensive compared to what one would have to get to deal with 3 kids under the age of 10. Having a real kitchen (oven + microwave + dish washer + fridge) is key. It's only a 20 minute drive to Jiminy so its really not that far. And the place is centrally located in Pittsfield so grocery stores or fast food are all close by.

It's really a great deal and the service was great too.

Just remember, its an extended stay so you aren't going to get daily housekeeping, but with 3 kids, what would be the point?

Also, you still get access to the main Yankee Inn hotel pool (5 minute drive down the street) which my kids thought was a great way to cap off their ski lessons during the day. And yes, the pool is heated.

I was amazed at how comfortable and homey the rooms were. Outside the sliding door was a beautiful view. All of the kitchen appliances and dishes and utensils were just what I needed. If I had any needs, they were quickly fulfilled. Each day as I came back from my business trips, I felt as if I were coming home. Never did I feel afraid, even though I was alone. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. For my purposes, the location was just right, too, being on the intersection of highways 7 and 20. For my extended stay of three weeks, the price was great. I would absolutely come here again or recommend this extended stay hotel to any of my friends or colleagues.
