Stayed at this hotel for a business trip in nearby Danvers. Arrived late in the evening and front desk staff was not terribly welcoming. Not that they were unfriendly, but I've become used to, at the very least, a smile and a greeting. After a long trip, it's a nice touch.
The hotel is dated; ie old. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms, but the elderly heating unit in the room grumbled all night. Bathrooms are clean and serviceable.
The staff in the restaurant in the morning were great.
Overall, this is an average hotel that fits the requirements for a hotel that one needs to stay at for business if someone else is paying
