“Old and tired hotel!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2010

There was a damp smell to the room. The bathroom was very small with rust around the pipes. The air conditioning unit was old and loud. The walls in the room could use a paint job. When I looked at the bed, I lifted the sheets to see if it was clean and I found two long hairs on the mattress pad. I would not suggest this inn until they give it a good cleaning job! Only there one night and I had to be in this town so I had to tolerate it.

“Nice Renovated 2-Room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2010

Just stayed for 2 nights in a large nice renovated double room (#3). Did not expect much, but was very pleasantly surprised. 2 decent TVs, 2 good queen beds, small refrigerator and microwave. Our room was better than other Orleans area motels. Most of those motels are fairly bare bones, so do not expect lavish breakfast. The pool is very nice, but it was rainy so we did not try it. Not sure what the prior recent reviewer saw, but he / she said it was a two year old review. Also not sure if many other rooms have been renovated - ours is one of the larger ones. It was a bit noisy, since near the parking lot and outdoor ice machine. Did not need the AC, so no info about it.

“Needs a complete overhaul”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2010

We stayed here one Saturday night two years ago, and from what I'm reading, it doesn't sound like the place has changed much. Check-in was annoying, and the room was like absolute bare minimum for me to stay there. Room was musty-smelling, almost like the door hadn't been opened in months. Bedding and furniture were like 30 years old but not in a good way. The worst part was the shower, there was minimal water pressure and hardly any hot water, even though we ran it for 10 minutes before showering. The "continental breakfast" was laughable and sad - pre-packaged items like honey buns and Sunny D-Light (not joking!). We obviously went elsewhere. For the $150/nite, we could've stayed at a bed and breakfast, though unfortunately we needed one more night which we were unable to get. I definitely would never, ever stay there again unless I was paid $300/night. If it weren't for the location, this place would be out of business after it's first season. Total disgrace to the Cape.

“Great Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 May 2009

Stayed once again at the Rodeway in Orleans, only this time for 3 nights. I heard a lot of complaints about the hotel before I arrived, but didn't find anything wrong with it, for our needs. Althought the room we had last time was a lot nicer, all we really needed it for was to sleep. It is a bit dated, but by the looks of it, they have been trying to spruce it up a bit. We also didn't stay for the breakfast, as we love to go to the Cottage bakery just down the street.
It is in a great location, to get around. Most things within walking distance, and only a half hour away from Provincetown, great for doing the Outter Cape trips. Would still go back there again.
