“Good value and CLEAN!”

This is a no-frills place right on the beach, 5 minutes outside of Ptown. It's on the older side & the furnishings reflect that (pink and black tile, bedding is seriously old-school), but it's kept SPARKLING clean & that's what I care about! The sheets were so bleachy-clean they almost glowed! We had a very nice stay for 3 days in late June, really enjoyed the location & the fact that it had it's own beach just outside the back door. A small courtyard with grills was a very nice touch. I booked my stay with the owners who were VERY nice on the phone & obviously take a lot of pride in keep their establishment clean and cared for (it took a few tries to reach them on the phone in May because they spent long hours raking and cleaning the beach!), although the young lady who we dealt with onsite was a bit rude when we did have a (pretty routine) request, made it clear that we were interrupting her chat on the phone. The cleaning staff was FANTASTIC: the lovely lady who cleaned our room literally would not let us back in one morning until she finished cleaning. Everyone was very kind to my son. This place is a solid value & for the area (6A in lovely North Truro) it's pretty unbeatable.

“better than I expected”

the rooms were very clean it was odd to see such dated furntiure in such good repair, The room DID NOT smell musty as many of the other hotel rooms do in the area. For the price you cant beat it. there is a boardwalk all the way down to the beach, beware of the ticks on the beach It was easy to get everywhere either driving or on the trolley. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. There was coffeee in the front office. No extras but well maintained simple clean hotel

“Cean basic motel room, good value for the area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2009

Found this motel is a good value compared to other accommodations in the N. Truro area. We stayed in the motel section (rooms with kitchenettes also available) for two nights - with two comfortable double beds, newer carpet, small table with two chairs, desk, mini-fridge and fast wi-fi. Bathroom was retro 50s (pink/black tile), clean with plenty of space for storage. This motel has beach access, away from main tourist towns and 10 minute drive to P-town, on bus route (did not use). Motel desk staff very friendly and helpful - recommended excellent restaurants and local sightseeing options.

“Just Ok. A bit pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2009

We stayed here for one night on our way to Provincetown the next day. It was a basic motel room, nothing special. It was an older motel that had had some renovations. It was clean and functional. It was on the beach, but I’ve seen better. The owners were friendly and helpful. We paid $160 a night, which I thought was quite expensive for the simple room. It was the most expensive room we stayed in on our 10 day trip, and we stayed in some much nicer hotels. It was very close to Provincetown, which was a bonus.

“Budget motel with great beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 August 2009

Rooms are spartan, but for $130/night there cannot be any complaining. So close to Provincetown and a sandy dune beach in the backyard. What more could you want?
