Great location near freeway and restaurants and shopping. Soft lumpy mattress that gave me a backache. Poor selection at breakfast. Great price. Spacious and well decorated.

Great value- Clean , large rooms- large bathrooms- helpful staff- good breakfast. Plus many chain rest nearby and a 24 hr CVS (all a short drive away)

The HIE lives up to its market niche as a basic economy offering. Check-in from the one staff member on duty was a bit slow. Rooms were fine, with a bit of a stale smell. The pool was a pleasant surprise and good warm temperature. There wasn't any road noise from US-1 and we stayed near the front of the hotel. The location is sandwiched between a car dealer and self storage unit. It is a few minute drive to restaurants and other amenities. Other staff members (house keeping, breakfast staff) seemed interested in efficiently tidying up the hotel but less interested in making the stay pleasant for guests (breakfast crew started packing up the free breakfast around 9:00 and house keeping crowded the elevators during check out time).

This was our second stay at this hotel. Our first stay was in February 2011, and it was just my husband and myself. We were visiting family in the Mansfield area, and this hotel was the cheapest rate we could find.

This time, in August 2011, we brought our two kids with us, and were visiting family again.

Both times, the room was very clean. Room and hotel are updated and in good condition. Towels are fluffy and large enough to dry off with. Staff was friendly and helpful. My youngest child swam in the pool, and he had it to himself. It was warm and enjoyable. The included breakfast was fine...a nice mix of hot and cold foods, and was stocked often and the breakfast area was clean.

For what I paid, compared to what other hotels in the area were charging, we were very happy, and will return again!
