“Great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

Our room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable -- we stayed in the room with the jacuzzi tub, which was really nice. Laura and Paul were wonderful -- very friendly, attentive, and know when to give you space. I was surprised at all of the goodies they offered us -- I knew about the brandy and chocolates because of their website, but the cookies and muffins were really yummy and a nice touch. Our spinach and feta omelettes for breakfast were delicious. Overall, a great experience! Definitely recommend.

Laura and Paul are inviting and great conversationists yet give you plenty of space after your settled in. The house is absolutely amazing it is comfortable, luxurious, and spacious. The rooms are gorgeous with themes that suit the names of the rooms. Everything was extremely clean. The breakfast was unbelievable, i felt like i was at a restaurant. Laura always make sure there is snacks throughout the day like cookies, wine and cheese and brandy. a truly amazing expierence. Would strongly recommend!!

“A perfect place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2011

When you arrive at your destination after a 200 mile drive the last thing you want to hear is that your room is out of commission. However, when that happens what you do want is Laura being so concerned that we won't accept a free upgrade because it has a double jacuzzi instead of a shower. We're not that hard to please. The house is gorgeous, beautifully calming, and the rooms are perfect in every detail.

Paul and Laura are lovely hosts, helpful and respectful of your space, who dish up a great breakfast in a lovely setting.

As a base for exploring the Mohawk Trail and the Berkshires this Inn cannot be beaten. And make sure you visit the Rockwell museum. I fell in love.

Room Tip: Well, if you don't need a shower, the double jacuzzi in the music room is great.

“beautiful, did not disappoint and loved the hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2011

thid bed and breakfast is quiet, has a pool and beautiful gardens and scrumptious and plentiful breakfasts. laura and paul are very suited to the hospitality business and make you feel right at home with all the right touches - brandy, cookies, offererd wine, keurig coffee pot 24 hours, chocolates at your bedside and on and on. we can't wait to stay again and go to the antique shops that laura has in mind. laura went beyond hospitality to phone and get info on church services for us and directions for a side trip on our way home.

Room Tip: the carriage room is on the floor level and looks out on the pool and gardens with a private entranc...

“Everything We Expected and More!”

My partner and I just got home after a great three day stay at Blackinton Manor. Great location between Williamstown Theater Festival and MASS MoCA, not to mention a few minute walk from the Appalachian Trail. Owners are attentive and friendly (but respectful of your space) and the breakfasts were way above the norm. House was clean and beautiful. We stayed in the Queen Anne room (loved the space and being upstairs, although a little traffic noise from street if windows are open but that's all gone by 11pm and then it is silent).
