“Good Value just West of Boston”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Very solid hotel. It is an older property but they have done a nice job refurbishing it and the staff I experienced were excellent. The hotel is located at the intersection of the Mass Pike and Rt 128, which is very convenient if you need to be anywhere near the Western Suburbs of Boston. There are also some GREAT restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. They have a large fitness center with a good variety of equipment. The bed I slept in was one of the best I have experienced. I also find it very reasonably priced for the quality. Parking is also free.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the river.

“Not Value for money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

This hotel is a total disastor. Very old and the rooms we got have mold. I had a gold level elite status at Marriott, they told me they cannot upgrade me because there is no availability. My friend and his family checked-in few hours later and got an upgarde though he hasn't even a Marriott rewards card. The cost you pay outweighs anything you get. Think twice before you book at this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a lake view

Dear Valued Guest,

I was certainly disappointed to read that you were less than satisfied with your stay this past July. The hotel has completed an extensive renovation throughout and has received many favorable comments. We always try to accomodate guests requests as much as possible but given the demand for the high floor rooms we are not always able to meet all the requests for those rooms that we have. We hope that you give us another opportunity should your travels bring you back to this location.

“Good but not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

I come here once a year for business, and prefer it to other hotels in the area. I would actually rate it at above average, just not 'Very Good'. Comfy bed and pillows. Bath was adequate. I like that there was an easily accessible outlet above the nightstand for charging phones. Well-equipped gym.

“Needs maintenance”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012 via mobile

Checked in on business. Front lobby was busy which was a good sign. It went down hill from there. The room I checked into was just ok. Carpet had a huge stain on it and wasn't clean. I almost asked for a room change but was so tired from travel I just went right to bed! The bathroom was ok, the floors were kinda dirty but the staff was friendly when I checked in. I just think they cut corners and still charge the customers for a 4 star stay...

“Acceptable but expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

I stayed 1 nite at this hotel to bring my daughter up to college and it was average accomodations but over-priced. It could have been the time of year and with many colleges in the area. The rooms were adequate but nothing special. We had breakfast there (not included) which was fine. I paid 4.5 star pricing for a 3 star hotel.
