“Terrible nights sleep”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2010

Booked 2 rooms for a weekend shopping trip. Check in was simple and the employees were friendly.

The room was unbearably hot and the controls on the air conditioning/heaters did nothing. It was bizarre to see most of the occupied rooms with their windows open on a cool October night.

Our only option was to open our window all night and listen to all the trucks passing by on I-495. Needless to say, we did not sleep well.

The complementary Continental breakfast was okay.

Overall, the hotel was clean and our shower delivered hot water with plenty of pressure. However, after staying at this particular hotel twice and having similar problems, I will never stay here again. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.

“Average, economic hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2010

Average to below-average by comparison to other hotels we've stayed. Hotel has a worn appearance and the mattress, bed linens and towels had seen better days. The amenities were at a bare minimum, the staff was friendly but not polished or professional though we did get additional towels when we tracked down housekeeping. The complimentary breakfast was sparse and quite unimpressive (both the offerings and the setup), the coffee was forgettable. We had a great rate from a Hotwire reservation, so we felt we got "our money's worth" and there's plenty of restaurants, stores and services in the immediate area. Very easy to get to off I-495.

“staff morale extremely low - couldn't care attitude - just barely making it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2010

This hotel is running on the smell of an oil rag - initial room request ignored despite arriving very early - rooms vary - this we know because we were moved - poor to ok - just plain neglected - internet (via ethernet) unavailable in some rooms & some floors - told to contact the subcontractor ourselves - spent ages on a farmed out call only to discover the room didn't have the device installed - moldy shower curtain, bedroom curtains difficult to pull (tracks messed up), toilet fans sound like a prop plane on takeoff, electrical outlets tricky - work only if something else is switched on, door keys tricky - multiple swipes required.... and staff who just couldn't care except for the maintenance man.

“Great hotel for a great price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2010

Upon arrival, we were checked in promptly by the friendly woman at the desk. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast area was nice and there was a good selection of food, drinks, and coffee. The bed was comfortable. The cleaning ladies were friendly and helpful. We were happy to be able to do our laundry there for free - they even provide the detergent. The price was good. We stayed 3 nights. We were delighted to stay there and will stay there again when we visit that area.
