“Not the best almost stay”

First, the lower floor request was not available. Next, in the room available, one of the beds didn't have a frame. We decided to give it a try anyway. I was apparently not going to work because it smelled somewhat like smoke coming through the air conditioner/fan unit. That, combined with the frameless bed, made it nonworkable. I told the front desk we would have to check out right then - just couldn't do it. At least they did take off something like $30, which they didn't have to do. The flat TV was very nice, but the rest was just too negative to overcome. The front desk was very kind and helpful and perhaps if given a different situation it would be a fine place to stay on a budget.

“Very helpful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

We booked thru Hotwire.com and found out that the site didn't bother to give details out to the hotel that 3 people were going to be rooming together (reservation specifically said for 3). The young man at the front desk, Zac, was so helpful! When he found out that we got a "Single" room, he immediately arranged to have a cot sent up (though later on I would find out this was not allowed due to the size of the room but we already had it ha ha) but it really helped us out a lot because there was no way I was sleeping on a Queen bed with two other girls. The next day, La Quinta transferred us to a bigger room with 2 doubles and solved the problem.

Amenities were typical but the staff really made our stay comfortable.

“Almost a good visit, except I didn't get MY room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2011

I had booked this on their website. This was for two beds and non smoking. Since there were three of us we needed them. When we checked in we were greeted by a very nice young man named Zach. Upon going into the room we were given we found it only had a king bed. I assumed it was a mistake so I went back to the desk. Zach told me that was the only Non smoking room available. He had a double in the smoking floor. My wife has allergies and that is why I requested non smoking. Now we had a problem, as he also said there were no rollaway beds in the hotel. I have back troubles and our son has rods in his back from surgery. The boy ended up sleeping on the floor on bedding that Zach provided. I was told that he would talk to his manager and make it right. When I checked out in the morning he told me they were taking $40 off our rate. That might have been fine had I not seen the sign near the elevator saying La Quinta offers a 100% guarantee if you are not happy with your room. We did not get what we booked, so I was not 100% happy. I expect this will be dealt with in a timely manner. I will say again as to what a fine job Zach did. He is an asset to your company.

“Very impressed and would stay again”

First time I've stayed in the hotel or a La Quinta. I picked it b/c I needed to stay near Milford but did not want to pay the higher prices to stay near Framingham. The location is just off the exit from the highway. It was in a quiet location even though it is directly of the highway. Even thought the parking lot was full, the hotel was quiet. The rooms were only slightly smaller that high end hotels, yet with practically the same amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. I travel quite a bit for business, and this fit the ticket for me, and I couldn't believe that I stayed here for less than $100 a night! There are some restaurants and a few strip malls nearby so the location was ideal from that point as well.

“GREAT STAY, GREAT HOTEL!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

My family and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Milford for two nights just last week and were thoroughly impressed by the great service & quality stay we recieved. The room was spacious and immaculately clean, and featured a brand new LCD TV with full cable. The air conditioning unit worked perfectly our entire stay and kept our room nice and cool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful... at first our phone didn't seem to be working for external calls, so we called the front desk and within one minute they had reset our phone and it was working perfectly. Upon checkout we were asked if there were any concerns or complaints, or unresolved issues from our stay, as the La Quinta chain has a strong "if we couldn't fix your problem, your stay is free" policy.

The location of the hotel was great for us. Less than a 10 minute drive on the interstate to the Wrentham Premium Outlets and within walking distance of a Big K-Mart, Kohl's, CVS Pharmacy, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC & more.

The hotel does back to the I-495 but we did not find the traffic loud at all. There is a thick line of trees protecting the hotel from the highway, which helps muffle the noise.

As we were travelling with a pet that we could not leave unattended in the hotel while we shopped the outlets, we registered him at the Camp Bow Wow in Bellingham, MA (5 minutes from the hotel - literally half way between the hotel in Milford and the outlets in Wrentham) and recieved 6 hours of "Doggy Day Care" for $20.00!

Needless to say we were 100% impressed with the La Quinta and for $90.00/night we will be staying in this hotel any time we are in the area!
