“Great hotel”

We needed a hotel near EMC Company as my son had an interview and we used Holiday Inn points to stay here. Upon check in, what a treat as there were cookies, hot apple cider and a popcorn machine. And it was 0 degrees outside, so the hot apple cider was much appreciated. Love this place already !! The night before we were in a Best Western Plus in Cambridge and that was very disappointing. This hotel was very nice and we have never been disappointed in any Holiday Inns. We liked the HI Express as breakfast is included. There is a nice breakfast area right off the lobby with hot cinamon buns, muffins, fruit, scambled eggs, cereal. We will be back when we're in the area !!

“Good hotel, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

Seems like a newer hotel, everything was clean and seemed to work fine. Good location right off the interstate, close to some big box stores and a TGIF restaurant that is walkable as king as it is not too cold. I was there for a week for business and enjoyed the stay. They serve a pretty nice breakfast every morning with some hot foods, I only wish they would have opened a little earlier on the weekends because I was working both days and did not get to have breakfast, but I understand they cannot be open all of the time. They had fresh baked cookies every night when I returned to the hotel at the front desk that was good but not good.
When I made the reservation I must have made a mistake and thought that they had refrigerators in the room, every other holiday inn express I have stayed at has had them. I travel with medicine that needs to be refrigerated and did think it was a little cheap to ask me to pay for a refrigerator especially since I am in there honors program and because I was staying there for a week. I cannot imagine they make money on t hose refrigerators. But it was my mistake and I should have checked that and stayed somewhere else that offered them.
Again a very nice stay no problems and I would stay here again, minus the refrigerator problem. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: If you need a refrig you need to ask about that with the reservation or be prepared to pay for it.

“No issues”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Newer building with a great location.
Clean clean clean.. Nice workout center, pool and great staff.
Parking lots lights do shine into rooms, so make sure you use the room darking curtains.

“Not the Best Stay I've Ever Had”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

I stayed at this Hotel for 3 Nights in September 2011. The staff was friendly and helpful, however, the room was not as clean as I'd like it to be. There were pieces of dark hair on the white pillows that were not mine, and being a girl who is easily disgusted by hair, this tells me the room was not as clean as it could have been. The hotel was outdated and the pilows were lumpy and worn out. There also were no black out shades on my windows. Since the parking lot is well lit (a definite plus) the light shone right into my room, and it made me uncomfortable to be in my room by myself without any privacy shades. There was also no refridgerator or microwave in the room which makes it difficult to bring food back from restaurants or to have fresh groceries. The fresh fruit was lacking as well and not in an obvious place where it could be found. The bananas and apples were bruised and unappealing (pun intended :). In general, this was not a horrible place to stay, it just desperately needs some updating and more attention to detail when cleaning. If given the option though, I'm not sure I would stay here again.

Our new Housekeeping Supervisor will review all cleaning procedures with staff. Blackout curtins are on all windows located between the sheer curtin and the decorative curtins. Fruit is available in both the lobby and the brekfast room.

“Best Holiday Inn Express”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

Spent a great 2 nights at this hotel. The front desk was especially helpful and friendly. All the employees smiled and greeted us. Beds very comfortable. Location very nice. Can walk to the TGIF which is also wonderful. Breakfast has bacon, sausage, eggs plus continental - varies each day but was always good. Definitely recommend this hotel. It's not too far from Gillette Stadium if your going to a Patriot Game.
