While this hotel was adequate, I must say I have stayed at some Holiday Inn Expresses that were nicer than this place. Nevertheless the room was adequate, comfortable and quiet. Just a few complaints. We never received many of the toiletries we should've (conditioner, two soaps, etc.) had to ask for them at the desk twice because the cleaning ladies only gave us shampoo and a bar of soap after cleaning our room. Don't bother trying to use the business center during your stay, it's always locked it seems! Also when walking the halls to breakfast early in the morning, one could have a heart attack with the loud cackling laughter of the cleaning ladies coming from the laundry room. If in the area again, I would probably choose a different place to stay.

Stayed here this past weekend for a hockey tournament. When we first arrived the woman at the front desk could not find our reservation. She was going to give us someone else's room until her supervisor (I assume) had to help her out after she struggled for 10 minutes. We were very impressed by the room. It was spacious and clean.
The restaurant was a disaster. Waited almost two hours to place our order. The two wait staff appeared to have no idea what they were doing. The food was mediocre, One person in our party ordered room service for breakfast and had to wait an hour after being told they had too many people wanting breakfast in the restaurant.
Our room was not cleaned and when we went to ask at the front desk if housekeeping would come and clean, the guy said they would try to get them to clean the room!

The pool was OK except we had to ask multiple times for towels and then they would bring them 45 minutes later.

We would not stay here again unless all the other hotels near New England Sport Center were booked.

we booked a 2 double bedroom which came with 32 inch TC, fridge, a/c, microwave and desk. The beds were comfy and the room itself clean and spacious.

Pros: room size, clean, pool, tv, wifi, breakfast buffet

Cons: check-in took ages as nobody was covering reception.

You know what you get at a typical holiday inn and this one is no exception. Good location between Boston and Rhode Island

A few months ago I was thrust into the role of event coordinator in planning a 180 person Conference to be held at the Holiday Inn in Marlborough. It should be noted I work in state government so the hotel had to jump through hoops in just dealing with the bureacratic process involved in contracting and planning. I worked mainly with Stahr, the Sales and Catering Coordinator, during the planning and she was amazing in handling everything from menu and equipment changes to walking me through the room layout and ensuring everything was within budget. On the day of the Conference, Claudio, the hotel's A/V guy did an outstanding job of setting up for the day's presentations and displays and continued to help us throughout the day with our various requests. The catering staff, especially Edie, were great and the chef let us adjust our menu count last minute since more people showed up than registered. All in all, the staff were professional, flexibile, and accomodating. I'd recommend this hotel to anybody in the area looking to plan a Conference.
