We stayed at Notorious Annie's because of the reviews and our desire to stay somewhere with a view from the room. We got the view and more. Annie's Suite was (1)a bedroom with a full view of the bay; (2) a small porch where you could sit outside and enjoy the view; (3) a large TV room with a sofa and day bed plus (4) a big beautiful bathroom (large soaking tub and an big shower) decorated with Jack's sports photo collection. The continental breakfast was served in the suite- warm muffins, juice and a pot of delicious coffee. This is not a B&B that offers a lot of interaction with the owner or other guests but it is a real treat to stay in such a stylish place run by an active talented owner.

Look no future if you want to be pampered; I surprised my wife with a trip to New England for her birthday. Janet is a wonderful hostess and made us feel like family.
Stayed in Jack's suite and words alone cannot describe how nice this place is; clean, spacious, and the views out over Marbelhead Harbour? Breathtaking !

We live in southern NH, about an hour from Marblehead. Our friends from western NY were going to be in Salem MA for the weekend to attend a wedding. We decided at the last minute to try and find a place to stay nearby on the Friday evening of their visit so that we'd have a bit more time to spend with them. To our absolute delight we discovered Notorious Annie's online and were able to book Annie's Suite for the night. The location is the best, the suite is amazing and our coffee, tea and warm muffins in the morning were an added delight. We hated to leave....this is one of those rare places where the photos online look appealing but it is much more when you actually see it. Janet Sheehan, the proprietor is a wonderful host as well.

We stayed here on the last 2 nights of our honeymoon and it was just a perfect way to end a perfect holiday. You wll be hard pushed to find a better location, as the name suggests the inn is situated right next to the ocean, with its own private beach. There are 2 apartments to choose from; Annie's Suite and Jack's Suite - we opted for Annie's after seeing the fabulous bathroom on their website! The apartment has been very creatively furnished and obviously by someone with an eye for design. The views are stunning - sitting in the lounge at nighttime with the real fire crackling, glass of wine in hand and waking up with the sun shimmering over the ocean, are images that will stay with me a lifetime. Marblehead is a beautiful little town, full of history and charming shops and restaurants - The Barnacle fish rstaurant is particularly well recommended.
You will not be disappointed by this wonderful place - very romantic for couples, esp the steam shower for 2!
