Marblehead on Harbor was such a great experience! The owner, Becky was so helpful and accomodating that I felt like we were staying with a long lost relative for the weekend. The inn is absolutely beautiful, clean, and located on a harbor with amazing sunsets. We stayed on the third floor. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a view of the harbor complete with sunsets/rises. It was beautiful! There are no Televisions, but that did not bother us in the least! On out downtime at the inn, we were basking in the hammock on the large wrap around porch or collecting shells during low tide on the little quaint shore of the harbor just steps away from the inn. We ended up in Marblehead when Salem was all booked up during the Biz Baz faire. Marblehead on Harbor was reasonably priced and close enough to Salem that we could take the 15 minute drive each day to adventure. By the end of our 4 days there, we were actually rushing through Salem just so we could run back and enjoy the tranquility of the hotel! Such a perfect place to stay! We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to go back for a relaxing weekend.

I first visited this summer and cannot wait to get back next month. I truly felt as though I were visiting family, not staying in a bed and breakfast. There were lots of my best friends---books--a great location, and Becky is a warm, generous hostess.It is a short walk to the park with a view of islands, Boston, etc. I've never stayed in a B&B before, but this was a wonderful experience.

Marblehead on Harbor is absolutely enchanting! The house is a treat with large porches, amazing views of the harbor, comfortable, clean bright rooms, wonderful books, and best of all was the owner/ hostess, Becky. Her warmth and graciousness made us feel immediately welcome. She was wonderful It was our first visit to Marblehead but it certainly won't be our last. While there are several B&B choices on Marblehead, there is none finer, more welcoming, more charming or more enchanting than Marblehead on Harbor. We can't wait to return!

My husband and I put together a last minute trip. We have 3 children ages 3, 8, and 10. We wanted very much to stay in an Inn for the experience as our children have only stayed in hotels. This was PERFECT. VERY family friendly! I wrote Becky with my concerns about the children sleeping in a room without us so she allowed us to bring an air mattress to set up so that we could all sleep in the same room (we were coming from Salem and just knew the kids were not going to want to sleep without us in a strange place). This was very nice of her to understand :) We arrived and Becky was so wonderful. We felt very much at home. Becky truly enjoys running an Inn and you can see it with all the little "extra's" she does to make your stay wonderful. For instance.. everytime we came into the house there was always little "snacks" placed through the house for the children..from gold fish to m&m's. My children we always excited to head back and see what was left for them. She even left a childrens book up in our room for our little guy as a bedtime story! Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Knowing we had little ones she even left plastic cups in the bathroom. The room was intriguing..so much history. It was clean and comfortable and we were there when it was very hot. The air conditioner cooled the room right off! It was definitely children friendly...Our FAVORITE part of staying here was the AMAZING view from our balcony that overlook the water..and they have their own little rocky beach that my children spent hours on exploring. I would highly recommend this B&B especially for families... We loved Becky :) Thank you Becky for making our stay so special. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK. Our children are already asking! Let me add that we usually stay is suites in hotels..I am a very picky person about where we stay.. We were very happy :)
