The owner went a bit overboard with what I'll politely call his "right of center social views." If that's not your thing, you might have a hard time at the Whistler's Inn. The breakfast was warm and generous in a lovely room, the bedroom however was on the cold side. The interior is old, when was the last time money was spent on maintenance or renovations? I suppose it's charming to have a toilet seat as old as the house - the large square footage and coffee maker in the hallway were nice. Sorry to say, but I'll look for a different B&B next time I'm in the area.
