For $85.00/ night through AAA we got a nice room with a king bed, refrigerator,working tv,and a balcony overlooking the lake-room 220. We had room 226 last year for $145.00 which had a fireplace and refrigerator that didn't work. As I reviewed last year, it is what it is. A little dusty, dated but still charming with a few lamps that don't work but all in all probably the best buy in the Berkshires. Check out the la di da expensive places that go for at least double the price. Quality Inn has them beat and the breakfast is adequate and is included at no charge. You are centrally located for everything and waking up on a weekend morning with a lake view is worth the price.

We spent 3 days there in mid-October. The rooms were adequate - large but a bit dated as others have said. Our TV was new though - a flat screen. The hotel restaurant - Bombay - has excellent food, the bar is well stocked. Breakfast was a little less than good. The part of the hotel that really put it into the positive experience for us were the employees - very helpful with nothing they wouldn't seem to do to make your stay nice. We thought overall that it was quaint - in keeping with the theme of the Berkshires.

Older motel that has been updated. Nice location on the lake. Friendly staff. Clean. Good value. Good size rooms. Indian restaurant was very good. Would come back again.

a week after our stay, which was just odd due to combative desk clerk, they sent me a COD package - no explanation, no phone call, just sent it from out of the blue. I called the hotel, as I wasn't missing anything, to see if anyone remembered what was in the package. I was just trying to avoid paying $11 COD to pick up someone else's shoes or something. They couldn't have cared less, told me just don't bother getting it if I don't want the (mysterious) contents. Just strange people. Otherwise, the hotel is clean enough and convenient. The good part is they let you book for one night. All the B&Bs in the Berkshires make you book three nights in the high season.
