Being a Holiday Inn Express and located strategically off I-495, I like to stay here. The rooms are ordinary but need attention. Clean beds but a toilet slhaving slight stains in the bowl. Wireless Internet is only available in the lobby, not on any floors which is a BIG surprise. I can overlok some of the issues however the recent decision NOT to have WiFi extended to the rooms raises eyebrows as to where this hotel is going.

Check in was fine and the room and hotel were clean and modern but the customer service the next morning left much to be desired. My daughter discovered that she had forgotten her razor and we attempted to call the front desk at least 5 times in a 45 minute period to inquire about the availability of one. No answer. I walked down to the desk and milled around for about a half hour getting coffee, watching the television, etc waiting for someone to show up but not a soul. Even went around to the side door of the front office and knocked to see if someone would show up but no response. So, for at least an hour and a half between about 7 am and 8:30 on a busy morning, no front desk person. When I went around to the side office door, I happened to see a lady sitting in the business center on her blackberry. Didn't make an impression until I saw later that she was the breakfast bar attendant and there was no hot food (eggs and sausage) for the 20 to 25 minutes that my daughter and I (and about 30 other people) were eating breakfast. I saw her come out of the business area, look at the breakfast area and the breakfast bar and then she started rushing around madly refilling things. Finally after we finished breakfast, someone was sitting at the front desk. She was on her cell phone having a conversation. She did promptly stop her conversation when I approached her and got a razor for me and was very pleasant about it. Just not a great hotel for customer service.

Stayed one night on New England vacation after visiting Salem. It is a reasonable drive from Salem with not much around so really only suitable for an overnight stop on way to next destination.
Rooms OK, clean, nothing special.

Great hotel, Very clean friendly staff, and comfortable bed....Great price too. Breakfast was above average for a hotel breakfast. We would stay again.
