The breakfast was amazing! Pumpkin pancakes, fruit bowl, and they were willing to mix and match from entree's offered. The innkeeper and his wife were very sweet, and hospitable.
The accomodations were just okay. Being an old building, there is little sound barrier between the rooms/hallways/other rooms. We heard other guest come in at 1am, and you can hear anyone walking down the hall. It didn't bother my husband, but i couldn't sleep well. They would benefit from a fan or other device that creates white noise in the room to buffer the other sounds. Our peach room was okay...the bathroom could use some revamping from the old linoleum and a new bathtub(although clawfoot was cool it was rather beat up). The bed was rather hard, not to my preference, but fine.
All in all, i'm not sure i'd stay here again. It's hard to find affordable places to stay on the north shore, and for the money it's worth it. If you like the home style of B&B's i'm sure you'd do fine here, But i have stayed at better B&B's(for more money that is)
