“Nice Modern Room”

Although a bit compact, the rooms were very modern a beautiful. The bathroom felt like a spa. The beds were VERY comfortable! Breakfast was good, but not many choices. The pool was nice, but has odd hours. They have a lifeguard, so it's not open as much as other hotels. Staff was friendly. We didn't use the gym, but it looked OK for use while on vacation. Great hotel, good location. I would certainly stay here again!

“Great Hotel... Will definitely comeback!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

Front Desk: Checked In 10/29/2011 w/ 2 adults and 2 children(6 and 7). Checked in earlier than normal time and our room was ready. Great Staff; courteous and friendly.

Amenities:Kids loved the pool. The Indoor pool hours were also a plus as you can relax at night after a day in the area. Adults enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Location: Easy to find. The shopping centers and mall are within walking distance, but the family opted to take the car due to Cape Cod weather in October(cold and windy).

Mgmt: The hotel loss power due to storm. Management did a wonderful job for handling the situation. Glow sticks were provided to all guests. Though the hallways were pitch black when you get out of your room. Glow sticks should've been placed all over the hallway.

Overall our stay was very good and will definitely comeback.

“Great Hotel... Great Location and Great Room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

I'm fussy I admit it and so was not really expecting much more than a bog standard run of the mill hotel being a hotel group. We arrived and were very pleasantly surprised at the huge car park around the hotel. We found it easy to unload the car and go straight in.

The lobby is bright, clean and welcoming and whilst we never used the leisure facilities you can see them from the the lobby area.

The hotel room was really good and we had a suite that had an upstairs! Now whilst that was nice and had a separate lounge and jacuzzi and toilet you don't need it. The main rooms are more than adequate.

One negative.. we went in for breakfast one morning and they had stopped doing a buffet breakfast. The waitress spoke to us as though we were stupid when we asked where the advertised buffet breakfast was. But hey.. I think she was just having a bad morning.. no big deal we went out for breakfast instead.

Overall though the hotel had everything that we needed and more. Like most hotels they had free wifi that I love and it was quite reliable too.

If I were booking to stay in this location and wanted value for money, good location and a great bed for the night... then this place has all and more.

Thank you so much for your comments. “Great Hotel... Great Location and Great Room” - how great is that! Sorry, that your restaurant experience fell short (you are nice to say the waitress must have been having a bad morning!). We appreciate your feedback.

“Excellent service, well appointed rooms!”

After a long day travelling up and down the Cape, we arrived late at the hotel. Check in was fast, efficient and the front desk staff very friendly and welcoming - this cheer us up alot!. We had a surprise upgrade to a lofty suite - a room with two floors, which our little one loved it. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms (two, one on the lower floor, and a jacuzzi-type, on the upper floor) were clean. Hotel location was near nice restaurants (if you fancy seafood) and supermarkets. Great stay for the weekend at the Cape.

Room Tip: For holiday Inn chain of hotels, being a Priority Club Gold or Platinum helps alot, especially for r...

Thanks for writing! The front desk will be pleased to learn of your recognition of their efforts. Also, thanks for your tip regarding Priority Club membership - there’s no cost and lots of benefits.

“Nice stay and very satisfied with this hotel”

This was just a quick little getaway to the Cape during off season. We arrived really early to the hotel. It was about 10:00 am and the receptionist who was very welcoming, was able to check us in right away. Other posters described the rooms as tiny so I was expecting a lot worse. It turned out to be absolutely fine for us. The decor was very nice and the room was super clean. The bathroom was really nice and had a big tub and beautiful tiling.
After settling in, we went off to explore Hyannis. Went to the JFk museum and to see the Kennedy compound. We then drove along the coast to Chatham which is gorgeous. The Cape really is nice and especially in off season. After a day of sightseeing, we went back to the hotel and used the beautiful pool and jacuzzi. What a great way to relax. There is an Olive Garden next door and I had never been to one. Why would I with so many great Italian restaurants in Boston. It was actually ok and better than I imagined. I sort of always wanted to try the food there. I am in no rush to return however.
Well I would definitely go back to the Holiday Inn in Hyannis. Its too bad that they don't offer breakfast in their rates but there are so many places close by to eat. Actually, there is a restaurant on the premises but we didn't eat there.
