Stayed here for one night in late December. Virtually all rooms overlook harbour, which is attractive but dead in mid-winter! Very attentive and helpful hotel manager. Good selection of books and free internet connection. Afternoon tea and wide choice of buffet breakfast included in rate. No dining facilities and nearest restaurant which was open in the 'closed season' about 10 minutes drive away (although takeaways can be ordered by phone for delivery to hotel). Would love to return in summer months.

Since my husband is on his way to stay here tonight for the third time, I owe this gem a review. We stayed as a family in June, and our school-age children enjoyed the grass for romping and the pool for swimming. My husband and I returned for business (at the hospital across the street) in November. We roused the front desk by arriving at 2:30 a.m. but the staff was fairly gracious, considering the late hour.

This place combines everything I look for: non-chain, squeaky clean, gorgeous surroundings (indoors and out--I love both the tasteful nautical decor and the harbor view), and convenient setting (easy to get to town, easy to get to the car). It combines the best of B&B style (decor, charm) but retains the more private feeling of a hotel. While my husband worked (leaving me without a car) I was able to walk to town and browse shops. Also could bask in the morning sun in the lovely enclosed porch--perfect for a chilly but bright November day.

Don't miss Common Ground Cafe in Hyannis--it's a hobbit treat!

Me and my other half stayed here New Years Eve and were QUITE pleased with our stay. lovely harbor views from the room, (BLASTED FOGGY NIGHT!!!!). The King sized bed was firm with a comfy down comforter and fluffy pillows, nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable, loved the water pressure in the shower too!!! all and all a great place to stay over will definitely return on our next visit down to the cape.

We stayed for four off-season nights, immediately after Thanksgiving. We had the place almost to ourselves. We booked the Osterville room which sits literally on the water with a beautiful wraparound balcony. the room was huge, beautifully furnished and very clean. breakfast was served in a B&B-style cozy dining room overlooking Hyannis Harbor. the staff were all very friendly and helpful with tips and directions to the nearby attractions, restaurants and such. The hotel is a little pricey in season, but if you book off season like we did, the prices are very attractive. You'll love the place!!
