“Think twice before you stay here!!!”

To say that my wife and I were highly disappointed would be a mayor understatement. We arrived at night and ALL the exterior lights had burned out bulbs - as per the check in guy. The "resort" should be listed as an hourly rate motel as it's truly a DUMP. It's located at the end of the take off ramp of the airport and ALL night long you're awoken to the sound of prop-planes sounding as though they're about to crash into your room-scarey and true. I had to hang the extra blankets I had in my car over the 'see through' blinds just so my wife and I could have privacy. The bed was stained and the blanket (probably 30 years old) had cigarette holes and burns in it, the room smelled of mold (we went through two cans of Lysol and Frebreeze), it was SMALL, it only had ONE outlet (for a hair dryer, cell pfone charger etc). Since I love practical jokes, my wife thought it was a joke of mine! This was listed through Armed Forces Vacation Club (AFVC.COM) and I complained five minutes after check in. I was told sorry, you should've checked tripadvisor.com so I'm trying to spare someone else the torture I went through.

“Almost a slum”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2008

I booked JSRV thru Global Vacations of RCI. It was a very old unit, converted from a low end motel about 1980. The bathroom is extremely small. The kitchen needs new cabinets. The condo and the game room always smells. The a/c cannot reach the bedroom and the bathroom. The blanket has large stains of larger than a foot. Other RCI resorts were much better.

“Hell Hole”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2008

JSRV was booked through RCI, a condo exchange company. I knew that it was older than most of their properties, but older doesn't have to mean that it's in terrible condition. This place is in terrible condition however, and was a HUGE disappointment. It has not been well maintained, and is not well cleaned. Small, dingy, and lots of problems (like a slow draining shower that meant one of us had to stand in old shower water or wait the hour or so until it drained). We dreaded going back each night, and would have gone elsewhere if this dump hadn't already been paid for.
