I stayed in this hotel while on a trip to the archives at Amherst College's Frost Library. A research trip taken by a graduate student doesn't afford one much luxury and so the cheapest place I could find within a few miles of the college was going to have to be the one for me. Luckily, this place was more than just an adequate match to my budget. As the temperature dropped, the heat could be cranked up as much as needed, the internet was amazingly fast, the complimentary breakfast was great and went later than most places. I know that the Mexican restaurant next door is technically not part of the hotel itself, but it is a selling point for me. As a native Californian who lives in San Francisco's mission district, I am hard to impress and easy to let down when it comes to Mexican food. But this place was amazing and the food there, coupled with the value and service I received at the Knight's Inn Hadley will bring me back to 208 Russell Street next time I get a research grant.

This was our second stay at the Knights Inn Hadley. We chose it because it is one of only three pet-priendly motels in the area, had the best price, and the other two had very poor reviews. Ths is not a fancy place, but it is clean, well-run, and offers the most reasonable rates in the area. We were there just overnight to help our daughter move, so we were only in the room to sleep. The management is steadily working to improve the property, and we found noticeable improvements over our stay last year. Friendly and courteous staff. Downsides, our window opened to the parking lot so we could not leave the curtains open, and the room was very dark. Sounds from the hallway travel.

I stayed one night at The Knights Inn for business. It was clean, remodeled inside - rug, bathroom, paint, rooms. It was perfect for an overnight and inexpensive. The staff was friendly - a nice family. I highly recommend it. Close to food too. The only thing that would have been nice is to have a coffee pot in the room.

Small motel, nothing fancy. Laundromat next door. All rooms have micro/fridge, but no coffee pots. Clean and neat.
