This used to be such a great place for the price, but now there is a little wear and tear all over the place. Carpets look old and are stained along with torn lamp shades. TV's are losing picture and our room smelled of cigarette smoke. I hope the owners are not letting this place deteriorate! There is so much to do in this area, that, if all you need is a place to sleep, this hotel was perfect! Not anymore.

I was booked this hotel through hotwire as a 2 star hotel and paid quite a bit ($82/nt). The room was in POOR condition and extremely dated. Old carpet, 2 torn lamp shades, ZENITH tv, beat-up furniture (missing knobs etc). For heat, a space heater was left in the room! A sink was once in the main room but all that remained was capped pipes protruding from wall. The bedding was old with 2 flat pillows. We were there 3 nights and only 1 bottle of shampoo was supplied for the entire stay. We will never stay there again. NOT A 2 STAR HOTEL!

Terrible motel. Owner is abusive if a problem arises, aggressive and nasty. Rooms are unclean and very noisy, and there are problems with almost everything. We only complained about one of the problems, but were treated as if we were criminals. Avoid this very, very overpriced dump.

My sone and I checked in here on a college tour week. The hotel is terribly run down. Our room was horrible, the carpet was filthy, with a pair of socks in the corner on the floor. The two chairs in the room were covered with stains on the fabric and the upholstery was pulled from the back of one chair. Even the chair in the lobby had arms blackened with filth. The television was straight from the 70's. The microwave was filthy and smelled like popcorn. The bathroom appeared to be clean but there was about an inch of shampoo missing from the complimentary shampoo bottle. My son and I couldn't bear to put our stuff down or stay in the room, so we elected to loose what we paid for the room (we booked online) and instead drove two hours to our next destination to stay in a decent hotel, and didn't regret our decision for one minute. There are many much nicer hotels in the same area with access to the five colleges, so please stay elsewhere.
