People who know the Williams Guest House keep coming back year after year. We were last there several years ago, and so happy to find it just as it was: a modest place - nothing fancy (no shampoos in little bottles), but very clean, comfortable beds, with spectacular views of the beach on one side and the wetland behind. Our room had mostly new furniture, tho the private bath was a hoot - 1960s style avocado fixtures, but in excellent condition and clean. The house is just a few steps from the beach, and the price is so reasonable! Ms. Williams, the lady who runs it, is very friendly and happy to suggest places to eat and activities to do. When we wanted a whale watch, she sent us to Capt. Bill's, surely the best of the several whale watching trips.

Williams Guest House sits on a beautiful location right near Good Harbor Beach. We visited in October, so the beach was not the attraction, but the spot is excellent. The house itself dates from the 1910-1920 period, and offers nice common rooms downstairs. Our large bedroom with small bath was serviceable and spotless, complete with TV. Nothing fancy, but we paid $65 a night, (offseason rate) so we have no complaints. The proprietress was friendly and helpful.
