“Horrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

Due to a recent power outage we were forced to stay two nights at this hotel. The cost was the same as the Crowne Plaza that we stayed in the first two nights, but the difference was day to night. This hotel is so run down it could easily be termed a "flea bag" hotel. In order to get to our room we had to drag our luggage up a flight of stairs at the designated entrance. Once inside the building I was appalled at how run down it was. Small dirty elevator, dirty carpets and sagging ceilings in the dark hallways. The rooms were dark and the furniture outdated. Everything looked worn out. Housekeeping did a poor job cleaning up the room on the second day. The continental breakfast was horrible. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for this price point.

“Comfort Amidst the Malls”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

The Best Western location on Route 9 in Framingham gives you good access to MetroWest or Downtown Boston via the Turnpike. The location is amid a sea of strip malls and across from Shopers World and the Natick Collection. For dining there's actually a Legal Seafood and the venerable Ken's Steakhouse within walking distance.
The desk is friendly and the rooms are clean but the halls and elevators have an odor. Not much ambience but well maintained rooms in a convenient location

Room Tip: The multi story section and the hallways to it seem very institutional so you might ask for the low...

“Can't beat this place for the price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

Picked this place based on reviews to do some college visits. It's not The Four Seasons, but for the price this place can't be beat. Clean, roomy rooms, clean bathroom, and a 1970's tv. Breakfast was ok. Friendly staff.

“SMARTEST CHOICE IS HERE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

OCTOBER 7TH, 8TH, AND 9TH WEEKEND COST LESS HERE THEN ONE NIGHT IN BOSTON. My wife and I drove up from Jersey to do the Boston scene. Our room was clean and inviting, oversized actually for just us. Supposedly there are pets allowed...I didn't see or hear one. The pool is big and clean, cool if you have kids. Free Continental Breakfast is above average: bagels, cream cheese jelly, pre made egg and muffin sandwiches, just heat up, cereals, sausage and gravy for your warmed biscuits, fruit, coffees and juices, etc. There is a Melting Pot, British Beer Company, and Walmart in walking distance. Across the street is Shoppers World DON'T TELL THE WIFE>
We chose to drive into boston but there is a T line available(Bostons bus and rail system). 15 minute drive to Boston from here. Our AAA realtor strongly reccommended Best Western in Framingham as she is an avid Bruins fan. Boston is extremely congested, you will pay three small tolls to get there (all highway), and $35. to park. JUST SUCK IT UP I know but it is worth it, there are no options. If you find a meter you will be too drunk to remember to fill it up every three hrs. Quincy market and Aquarium and North market is where to go. Everything within blocks of each other. 200 restaurants is an understatement and bars are endless. Be selective as you have so many choices. Somehow after 8 hours in Boston we got back to our well lit Best Western and was greeted by the front desk associate. Totally excellent value!!!!

Room Tip: We were on 6th floor and it was silent each night. Bed was comfortable, elevator was quick and quiet...

“If You Must”

The reviews on Trip Advisor about this hotel are pretty much spot on about the state of the hallways etc. of this hotel.."The Shinning" comes to mind. However, the rooms are just fine..well appointed & up to standard for a national chain. If you like being in the center of commercial sprawl, this place is for you. There is every conceivable "casual dinning" restaurant, Starbucks and shopping up and down the road. The pleasant surprise was a non-chain restaurant, right next door..Unfortunately I have forgotten the name..but it is an English Pub w/ nice character and good food and saves you from the sameness of chains.

I was here to visit "Garden in the Woods' If you are a native plant enthusist..this is for you!
