“Nice Courtyard - Close to Gillette”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

We stayed in this hotel the night before going to the Patriots game at Gillette Stadium. The hotel is fairly secluded with a couple of other chain hotels and a restaurant in the immediate vicinity. We traveled to Patriot Place for dinner and a movie the night before, which is only about 10 minutes away on a non-game day. On the day of the game the drive was still pretty quick, and cut off a good portion of the traffic on route 1. The hotel staff was very pleasant, and seemed very interested in making sure we felt welcome.

The hotel itself was pretty nice as well. We did not go for a swim in the pool, but it seemed like a pretty good size for a hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, and the bed was absolutely one of the most comfortable beds I have even slept on. It was a very nice surprise. The walls were a bit thin, and we could hear the people next door pretty easily, but it was New Years Eve - so it wasn't a big deal.

The main complaint I had was with the free wireless internet, which was very weak, and kicked us off several times. There was a cat5 hookup, but since we were connecting from an iPad, it wasn't helpful.

Overall, this was a really nice hotel, easy access from 95. I would highly recommend this as an option before/after a Pats game. Given it being New Years Eve and the night before the Pats game, the rate was in the low $100's - which seemed pretty reasonable.

Room Tip: We had a room on the back of the hotel (away from the road) that looked on to the courtyard - which...

“Perfect weekend stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

My old college roommate got married nearby and we stayed in this hotel. I was very pleased with the sleek look of the lobby, the comfort of the room and the staff. I called the front desk twice - once for an issue with the shower (which turned out not to be an issue) and for more towels. Both times, within 2 minutes someone was at our door ready to help.
Breakfast in the lobby was decent and they serve Starbucks Coffee. My boyfriend visited a local (yocal) breakfast joint from a suggestion by the staff that was horrible. Eat at the hotel or a place in the town of Foxborough.
The gym is small and unimpressive, but it has what you need to get the job done.

“Very nice hotel, but not very organized”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

We had a wedding block of rooms there. They gave away my parents room, tried to send my best man to the opposite side of the hotel, and made booking their event room near impossible. They do not deal with wedding blocks themselves, they use a sales department that is unresponsive and seems to know little about the hotel itself. Their renovations are nice, but the service needs it too.

“Great Rooms, Great Value, Friendly Staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2011

Stayed in the Courtyard Foxborough Mariott with a large group for a family wedding. Rooms great size. Beds very comfortable. CLEAN! The level of service you expect from a Marriott.

As of August 27th the property is under renovation, but it was NOT noisy the weekend we were there, as most of the renovations are focused on the public areas of the hotel. The weekend we were there the gym was under construction, and therefore unavailable - when it is complete, it looks like it will be a very small gym.

Only complaint is that they did not refresh our soaps/toiletries.

Breakfast buffet is not included, but it is a great value, with waffles, scrambled eggs, pastries, and fresh fruit. (And endless coffee!) Staff super friendly.

There is a mini-fridge in the room too.

Would recommend to a friend.
