“First time camping”

My wife and I stayed here without the kids to try out our pop up camper that we purchased and make sure everything worked good. The stay was great. There were all sorts of activities for kids and adults. The restroom facilities were very clean. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked again for a few nights with the kids. Going for the second time for refreshing. The staff are wonderful and all seem to really enjoy their jobs and are happy to help. Our kids had great times playing on all of the playground areas.

“Halloween Weekend was Spooktacular!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

Just arrived back from the Halloween Weekend #1 at Normandy and the entire weekend was GREAT! They had a ton of activities for the children and adults to do. Starting Friday night with the haunted hayrides to Saturday pancake breakfast, trick-r-treating, haunted house, DJ in the rec hall, costume contests for children and adults. The best part was seeing the families having a ball and the campsites decorated for Halloween. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The only suggestion we would have for them is to move the exit to the Haunted House. When you leave the Haunted House there are chainsaw people waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs and the other side of the gate. Kids could be hit easily by cars leaving or entering the park since they chase them while they are trying to get away. Cost for some of activates, where a portion goes to the Jimmy Fund. Definitely would like to go back again for this weekend in the future.

This is our second stay at Normandy Farms and another great experience. The campground is very well maintained, clean, family oriented, pet friendly and lots of things to keep the kids busy. The BMX bike course kept my son entertained the whole week. The pools are clean and not overcrowded as there are four of them. Overall atmosphere is friendly and safe as I allow my son to ride around the campground with no worries. No doubt, we will return year after year!

“Great weekend...would go again”

Went with 2 families and shared a tent site in the 400's and had plenty of room with 2 tents.....the site was clean and close to bathrooms, the lodge, restaurant, pool, etc.

The pools were closed while it rained which was a pain and seemed to take awhile for it to open. Once open, they were BEYOND CROWDED. Be prepared....VERY CROWDED....especially the ones near the lodge. If you're looking for relaxation, this is not the place.

We did fish at the pond and the kids caught a few sunfish.

There are plenty of rangers driving around to help answer any questions and they are very friendly.

Check in was very smooth and simple too. We were at our site within minutes.

This is a great place for families. I would definitely go again and recommend someone to stay.
The restaurant was way overpriced but convenient at times.

Room Tip: 300, 400, 500's great location. Skip the safaris or open field....you'll be sorry.
