“Great weekend...would go again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

Went with 2 families and shared a tent site in the 400's and had plenty of room with 2 tents.....the site was clean and close to bathrooms, the lodge, restaurant, pool, etc.

The pools were closed while it rained which was a pain and seemed to take awhile for it to open. Once open, they were BEYOND CROWDED. Be prepared....VERY CROWDED....especially the ones near the lodge. If you're looking for relaxation, this is not the place.

We did fish at the pond and the kids caught a few sunfish.

There are plenty of rangers driving around to help answer any questions and they are very friendly.

Check in was very smooth and simple too. We were at our site within minutes.

This is a great place for families. I would definitely go again and recommend someone to stay.
The restaurant was way overpriced but convenient at times.

Room Tip: 300, 400, 500's great location. Skip the safaris or open field....you'll be sorry.

“One of the Best Campgrounds in New England!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2011

Great campground! Extremely clean and bathrooms open all day - no closing while being cleaned for two hours! Lots to do, really nice people working here, well stocked camp store.
Some campsites are smaller than others, but set up nicely with small bushes in between for privacy.
Will definitely return despite prices on the high side - worth every penny!

“We keep coming back!”

This is the best campground around.. A bit pricey compared to others in the area..but well worth it. We have been every year since 2003- usually a few times -but always at Halloween! The kids have enjoyed it and so have we.. The sites are roomy-bathhouses are spotless. The activities are endless for the kids-no time to get bored. The pools are always very clean.. I cant say enough..

“Nice but Expensive.... and the only campground open during winter... in the northeast.... that I could find.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2011

Been at Normandy Farms Campground for about a month. $735 a month is pretty pricy for winter.... plus electric. I haven't used any of the "extras"... other than the gate that I go thru every evening... Sure the extras are nice...

I couldn't find anywhere else that's open during winter. I freaking only need a hookup and leave in the morning early and return late... 7 days a week. for a motorhome.

I think since they've been open since 1759, they should charge more....:)

Most of the park is full with rv's that I haven't seen anyone at. Roads during winter have been ok and they do clear the sites just prior to arrival. As far as everyone else here...Guess they have there spots rented for winter.... may be storage for most... Bet they aren't paying $735 a month. I rarely see anyone... but again I'm out early and in late...

This place would be awesome for the northeast during spring, summer and fall... Bet It's nice.

Would love to come back with the fam, but for now all business.

Expensive all around, but very very popular according to the internet.

Good luck...

“Very nice clean campground”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2010

We wanted to see why this was so highly rated in the Northeast and we could see why. The campground is very, very clean. The sites are really spaced out so you are not on top of one another especially in the rear of campground. By the pool is very tight. We stayed with multiple families and we had a great time. The kids loved the fishing areas, pools and activities. The only downside was food service was slow and pool rules were very strict. Kids were not allowed to bring any toys in the pool. I could understand when it was crowded but it was not crowded. The other issue was indoor pool was very cold surprisingly. Otherwise, it was a very nice vacation. The kids and dog loved the dog park. We did not play the Frisbee golf but looked like fun.
