We decided at the last minute to go to the Courtyard and to Coco Key. We got a great rate and the room was clean and spacious. The water resort was nice and clean. Not too many places to go out to eat in the area though. We will be back!

I stayed at this Hotel and encountered the strangest encounter ever in my travels. The night I stayed the heat in the room was not working at all. We were freezing all night. The next day while checking my email,a homeless looking man sitting at the next computer engaged me in conversation. He proceeded to tell me he was the owner of the Hotel. I told him about my experience and he told me it wasn't the Hotels fault but the company that took care of his water tower.He then went off non stop about how the Hotels roof leeks,about how he is losing money and other off the wall comments. Never apologized for my night or anything. I finally excused myself and went to the front desk to see who this person was and if he was the owner. They just rolled their eyes and shrugged their shoulders. If this is how the owner treats his guests, I believe we will be staying elsewhere when we travel to this area again. Beware of homeless looking people when staying here, it could be the owner.

Just got back from a weekend stay that hosted a dog show next door. The hotel was packed for the show and for a holiday weekend for kids. Yet, the staff was pleasant at all times and the room and lobby area were immaculate. The mattress was exceptional and made for a good sleep. Believe it or not, even with the outside temperature at 2 degrees, the room was a little too warm. I had the air conditioner on! The buffet breakfast was quite nice as well. If you choose otherwise, you can have breakfast at the cafe in the lobby. There were many items to choose from and coffee is free. There is plenty of parking and plenty of elevators. So even with the crowd, you always could get to your room quickly.

5 Stars for a Courtyard? Well, it's not the W hotel, or some other high end, but I was impressed by this place. the decor was really nicely done and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Certainly nothing to look at from the outside but the inside was really nicely laid out and looked much higher end than usual hotels in this price range. Our room on the 6th floor, overlooking a parking lot, was dead quiet - it was midweek and we only saw a handful of other quests during our stay. The room looked as though no one had ever stayed in it. Lovely asian inspired prints, large room and crystal clean, granite, decent sized bathroom with Speakman showerhead and eye popping, linen print, red wall paper. Couch, Desk, Large flat screen, mirror outside of bathroom, ironing board and small hairdryer. Room was a bit chilly when we got there, but we could turn up the heat and extra blankets were available so I appreciate their energy conservation.

The hotel itself is attached to a waterpark, but that was closed. The cafe looked pretty decent, and there are computers off the lobby for use as well as a dedicated print station for boarding passes. Didn't have enough time to check out the gym etc. Very easy access to main road. (Should mention, my GPS thought the address was a dirt road - it's not)

Staff was very friendly, especially the head of housekeeping, Lisa.
One weird occurence, which could be a pro or con - We got a phone call later in the evening because a car had left it's lights on in the parking lot. Nice that they go to such lengths for their guests, but the inturruption could have been avoided if they took make/model information at check in as some other hotels do. All in All a very nice stay, would stay again if I ever find myself in Fitchburg.
