“Wonderful house with great food and very helpful owner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2010

We spent a very enjoyable week at this guest house very conveniently located overlooking the village green in the lovely town of Falmouth, Cape Cod. Our room was charming and comfortable, as were the lounge and eating areas, and the breakfasts were excellent. Jean, the owner, was very friendly and helpful in suggesting local attractions and walks and we couldn't have asked for a better start to our American holiday.

“Wonderful place to stay in Falmouth, can't wait to go back!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2009

This was a great place to stay for the weeknd. We stayed for two days, one night in late September (2009). Saw pictures and read a few reviews online and had high expectations - which were absolutely met when we arrived. The inn keeper was pleasant, professional and very accomodating. The breakfast was delicious (and plenitful!) Our room, Dimick, was beautiful and clean with a comfortable bed. The house was spotless, yet cozy and inviting. We were able to park our car right behind the house and main street with all the shops/restuarants was just a 2 min walk from the front door. I would strongly recomend the Village Inn and will most defintely stay here again.

“Just Love the Village Green Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2009

For the past two years our daughter has been a member of the College Light Opera Company in Falmouth during the summer months. On various weekends my husband and I drove from New York to see several shows. Fortunately, while looking for a reasonably priced B & B, I found The Village Green Inn. Jean who runs the Inn, certainly knows how to make her guests welcome. By our second visit we felt like we were home. The Inn is beautifully decorated. Our room on every visit was spotless and very comfortable. With coffee available all day long and fresh baked cookies, we were always satisfied. Breakfast in the morning was very nice with a large variety of delicious and healthy choices. We also liked the fact that we could eat alone at the many tables that are available throughout the kitchen and dining area. During our last visit we needed to leave early in the morning to get back to NY. Jean made sure that she provided us with to-go coffee cups, and fresh baked muffins and cookies. We highly recommend this lovely Inn, not just for the comfort but also for the outstanding service the Innkeeper provides.

“lovely inn”

We stayed at this inn for 1 night Dec. 3. Wonderful stay, only $99. including breakfast. We had the Crocker room which overlooked the Village Green, beautiful view. Very clean and the decor was pretty, we took a look at a couple of the rooms and all were lovely. Breakfast was very good, homemade french toast, coffee, juices and cakes. Spring water in a refrig for anyone. Fireplace in the room, but only downfall was only 1 log per day. We dined at Quarterdeck (excellent) and Cafe Villagio (fantastic Italian and wonderful atmosphere). Great trip for 1 night!

“Nice location, poor execution”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2005

We stayed at the village green in in August.

We stayed in the annex and my daughter thought it smelled of dog. I would not stay in the annex unless you are traveling with pets. You dogs can stay in the annex with you in the kennel if you do not mind the smell. I would not stay in the annex with children.

The location is good. It is on main street but does not get the traffic to the ferry. You can walk to town and the ice cream place and the toy store. It is near the bike path.

People who stayed in the main house enjoyed their stay. There were some nice rooms.

The Village Green Inn closed in early 2006 and re-opened for business in the spring of 2008 under new management.
While there is a small dog living in the Carriage House, she is sure she is a princess in disguise. Other than an occasional "Woof" at sounds strange to her and when she knows it's time to eat, she is very quiet, well mannered and well groomed.
Since re-opening our guests have left many positive remarks in our guestbook regarding their visits with us. We are very proud of the work we have done and will continue to do to ensure our guests enjoy their stay with us.
