We stayed in the cottage on this property overnight and had a great visit. The cottage is adorable! 3 rooms plus kitchen & bath, which was more space than the 2 of us needed, but it was the only room available that night. It would be perfect for a family with a couple of kids, especially little girls who would appreciate the feeling of staying in a dollhouse. Although everything was compact, my 6'2" husband didn't seem to mind and, I think enjoyed the charm as much as I did...ruffled curtains, sunwashed linens, and adorable decor.
I was actually not feeling great, so spent most of the evening in the room. I appreciated the kitchen having fixings for a cup of tea. My TV wasn't working and the owner promptly came to look at it, even though she was in the middle of dinner service in the restaurant, which I appreciated. She called the cable provider twice, but it never reset and I spent the evening TV-less, which was no fault of the B&B.
The complimentary breakfast buffet the next morning was one of the most delicious I've had at a B&B. Lots of different choices and every item was better than the next! Seating was outside in the garden area, which was beautiful and relaxing.
The only disappointments at this property were the patio to the cottage looked a little shabby and in need of some sprucing up, so we didn't use it. It didn't match the charm of the inside of the cottage! Also, after a TV-less night in my room, we were only offered an apology. This was fine, but after spending most of my life in customer service, a complimentary mimosa or something small as an incentive for a return visit would've been a nice gesture.
