While I hadn't read the reviews prior to my booking my reservation I was having reservations going down after reading them. The rooms although small are clean, NO FLEAS, NO MOLD, new carpets and mattresses (old ones still out by dumpster). Property was well kept and clean. We stayed 4 nights and it was deadly quiet every night. Wasn't even that loud during the day and we were there from Thur. to Mon. occassional child going by windows, really only noise were people using laundry room (we had room next door), but that wasn't even that bad. Bathroom was small but clean, only downfall we found was nowhere to put clothes and no coat hangers in closet. For the price I was overly pleased. We definately would stay there again. There are people who do apparently live there but they are quiet and keep to themselves. I think this place is getting a bad rap from some disgruntled people. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This place was disgusting and scary.

We expected the rooms to not be the best considering the price, but we did not expect there to be FLEAS in the room! Yes...FLEAS!.....And spiders.

We noticed the fleas around midnight and called the front desk, but no one answered and we knew it was a bit late to go searching for another room somewhere else...needless to say we hardly slept and my boyfriend also got woken up in the middle of the night from someone banging incessently in the room adjacent to ours.

I think this place might have been like a rent by the week living facility as i saw people moving a lot of personal items around, I think the cleaning lady lived there with her 4-5 yr old child?

I'm not one to judge a book by its cover, but I saw 2 different and very sketchy looking individuals come and go from the room right next to ours, where a guy who was drinking alcohol all day and hacking all night was staying. I think they were dealing drugs out of the room.

We had reserved the room for 2 days and after the first night we complained to the front desk and the guy at least gave us $50 back towards the $80 we spent for the room the next night. We left and went to the Holiday Inn.

I stayed there for two weeks and well where should i start ok. Well first of all the carpets were all soiled rooms had mold in showers in a/c units and walls thel kept turning off my a/c an my neighbors because they said thet couldn't "make a profit if every body runs there a/c all day" mind you i just paid $500.00 for 2 weeks i could go on and on but les is more so take my advice and spend the extra 20 or 50 and enjoy some where else.

We just came back from Nantucket and were looking for a place to stay and somewhere to get dinner. A couple of hotels had no rooms so we continued driving down Rt 28 in Falmouth. Came across Great Bay Motel and my husband went to check for vacancies. They had an opening for $93 a night, we thought this was a great rate for such short notice and booked it. The manager told us of a seafood place down the street, so we went to eat then came back to the room about an hour later.
We go in the room and 'Oh My God, I could not bear the odor in it! It smelled as if there was mold in the room. The bathroom was so filthy I couldn't imagine showering in it. We went back to the office and there was a different clerk there. We explained the situation and he refused to refund our money. We ended up having to drive home 3 hours, that night.
I would not reccomend this motel to my enemy. It is discusting, the clerk was rude and offensive. I wish we had took pictures to post. Good luck if you stay here.
