We stayed here for 2 nights in October as part of a 2 week tour of New England. The situation of the house and surrounding area is quintessentially New England. Jim and Maureen were helpful, friendly hosts who made us feel at home in their home. We were the only guests staying on those 2 nights in the Oak Room which is elegant and comfortable. Falmouth is a pleasant town to visit and has a good choice of places to eat. We took advantage of hiring bikes and rode the Shining Sea Bikeway on a gorgeous sunny day. Lunch of clam chowder and burritos seemed perfect in the small town at the southern end of the trail called Woods Hole. Maureens breakfasts were a delight and so were the welcome afternoon tea and cakes. A lovely touch was to find a Union Jack flying on the side of the house due to our presence. We would not hesitate to recommend this B&B and hope to return ourselves one day.
