The Harbor View Resort was an amazing place to spend a winter weekend away. Our accomodations were in a historic captains cottage with two guestrooms and living room with a gas fireplace. We had the most incredible bed loaded full of fluffy pillows and lighweight covers. The bathrooms was impecable and the shower was to die for. The common space had a big flat screen with a great channel selection and an i-pod docking station. The location was accesible to a beach walk right across the street and real easy to walk downtown...even at the end of January. We ate dinner at the News part of the Kelley House one night. The food was great quality and the service was top notch. The staff were warm and couldn't do enough to make our weekend getaway special. The only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! Great job and definately highly recommended.

We spent a weekend at Harbor View in late November to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time. We did encounter one glitch upon check in that our room was not clean...worse still, someone had been sick in the toilet and it was still dirty. We addressed it with the front desk and went for a walk. When we came back, the room was spotless and we were given a breakfast voucher for Water Street for the next morning. Our stay must have been pretty nice because as disgusted as we were upon check in, everything else more than made up for it.

Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The location is just gorgeous, and the common areas are beautiful. It was a bit cold to sit out on the porch, but the view is stunning. We loved getting up and going for an early morning walk on the beach.

Do note that at night (off season) Water Street does not serve dinner. We ended up having lunch on the property at Henry's Bar and the lobster rolls were excellent. For dinner, we ate at Lambert's Cove Inn - not cheap, but fabulous. (If you have never been to Lambert's Cove, scope it out during the day as it is challenging to find in the dark!)

It had been many years since I have been to the Vineyard, but I can not wait to return in the off season.

The location of this hotel is stunning! Overlooking the ocean and a lighthouse. Gorgeous lobby and a wrap around porch to see the views. We stayed in a suite that was also amazing. 2 bedrooms 2 baths and balconies to see the views perfect spot!

It was our first time back after the renovation. It was perfect. The Hotel is spotless. The room was perfect. The views from the room spectacular. The personnel is friendly and gracious. The food was absolutely fabulous, both breakfast and dinner. We will definitely go back as soon as possible. This is the perfect spot in Marthas Vyneard.
