Our family of five really enjoyed our week's stay at Cove Bluffs Motel. The location was ideal (very close to bay and National Seashore beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, other Cape towns) and peaceful (hammocks, swimming pool, lovely pine grove, set back from Rt. 6). Because our visit was Monday to Monday, renting a house wasn't an option. Still wanting to have some space for the five of us, the two bedroom efficiency fit the bill. The unit wasn't large (tiny kitchen and bathroom) but there was good-sized table for meals and the sitting area was small but well laid out. There were two twin beds in one bedroom, a queen sized bed in the second, and a futon in the sitting area. We could occasionally hear people talking in the unit next to us, but this didn't really bother us. We liked being able to cook some of our own meals during our week's stay and eating under the pines on a warm summer's evening was lovely. Coffee cake and coffee in the gazebo on weekend mornings was a nice touch and the laundry facilities were a bonus. Tom and Noreen were very accomodating for our family and were always available to give advice or recommendations. They really take pride in their business and it shows. If you're looking for a place that's clean, resonably priced, and in a good location, Cove Bluffs Motel is a great choice.
