Stayed here for 5 nights in July after seeing Trip Advisor reviews. Motel is set in a little grove of trees so that even though it's just off Route 6 it feels quite rural and peaceful. We were in Unit 8 (2 bedroomed efficiency). The unit was small but really well designed and had everything we needed. There was a double bedroom and a twin - both with storage closets and a chest of drawers. There's also a living area with a large sofa, TV and dining table (can easily sit 4). Off the living area is a shower room (very clean and looked recently renovated), and a kitchen (small but just big enough to prepare a meal - full cooker, toaster and a fridge freezer). Outside we had a couple of chairs and a small table, and then a picnic bench table where we usually ate in the evening. There are also hammocks dotted about the area.
The pool was just across the driveway from the room - quite a decent sized pool for a motel with a few loungers and chairs. Also just beside our unit was the laundry which was great as we had about 4 loads of washing to do. There's also a vending machine in the laundry to get coke etc. You need to bring your own toiletries as the ones provided aren't up to much (although we expected this with a motel so didn't mind). Also didn't seem to have enough towels (there were 4 of us and were only given 3 bath towels a day which seemed a bit odd).
Motel is convenient for the sights of Cape Cod. There are some lovely beaches nearby (we quite liked Marconi Beach even though it seems to be less popular (this meant it was easier to get parked at!)). In Wellfleet (about 3 miles up Route 6) there is a drive-in movie theatre which our teenage boys loved. There's also mini-golf and restaurants nearby. In Orleans (2 mins drive) there's a big supermarket, pharmacy and liquor store to get all the essentials. I think it was around a 40 min drive to Provincetown. There is also a nice bay beach (First Encounter) a couple of miles up the road. We went there at night just to see the sunset (which was really spectacular).
Everyone we dealt with at the motel was really friendly, especially our housekeeper who did a great job of cleaning up all the sand we brought in from the beach every day!
If we come to the Cape again I wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else!
