Very quaint lodge. Very clean. Everything was in ship shape order. We had two double beds, both comfortable with clean and appealing bedding. Very reasonably priced compared to other lodging in area. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Near to beaches and town. Since we were there in October, we didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. The hotel is situated on lovely green hill, with huge trees all around. I hadn't been to Cape Cod in years (now a Texan), but it was as lovely and charming as I remember from my childhood. I highly recommend Spring Hill Motor Lodge!

“Touch of Old Cape Cod!”

Nestled in a setting of Cape Cod pines and wildflowers on historic 6A in Sandwich, the oldest town on the Cape, is Spring Hill Motor Lodge. My daughter and I rented a 2 bedroom cottage surrounded by mature pines, spruce and large oak trees. The cottage was roomy with plastered walls, cathedral ceilings in the living room, kitchen and master bedroom, hardwood floors, a large bathroom, 2 queensize beds, 2 televisions (living room and master bedroom) sliders to a small private deck and lots of windows for brightness. We were steps from the large immaculate pool surrounded by a large pool deck, natural greenery and a privacy fence. I especially liked the kitchen with fridge, full size microware and a dishwasher! The owner, Mr. Mangalo, goes out of his way to accommodate guests and his housekeepper, Megan, kept the cottage immaculate. I would higly recommend Spring Hill Motor Lodge for those who are looking for the true Cape Cod.

“Quaint and peaceful, excellent location with a wonderful owner!”

Our family, two parents and two kids, have just enjoyed a great stay at the Spring Hill Motor Lodge. Our initial plan was to stay for 3 days and move on but after leaving we spent a day touring the Capes various towns eventually ending up in P-Town however we didn't find anywhere we visited as beautiful Sandwich or with the character of the motel, its fabulous owner, Nasry or his softy side-kick Pavo (his gorgeous, friendly dog). So we phoned and booked another 3 days and went straight back - everybody was happy!

It's a really serene location and though it's handily located right on Route 6A it's quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool and deck was super and the BBQ a really nice touch.

Nasry was entertaining, accomodating and extremely helpful both in terms of our use of the Motels facilities and suggesting local places to visit, eat etc. Sandwich has fantastic heritage, visitor attractions, local shops, beaches and cafes/restaurants.

Being from Engand and having last visited the area 20 years ago, the Spring Hill and Sandwich are just how my (now) wife and I remembered all that was great about the USA - welcoming, charming and fun!

Sure there are other chain hotels that might have colder a/c, a bigger T.V. or whatever, in fact, we stayed in some, but they're souless by comparison as well as being way more expensive. So if your looking for a great place to stay for a great rate with a genuinely interesting, eccentric (I mean this in a complimentary way) host our family would really recommend staying here.

Thanks for the memories, Nick, Sarah, Izaak and Claudia. X

“Has potential.”

Unfortunately, this place probably was very neat at one point in time. The location and setting is great. However, when we stayed there this past week, the entire property's landscaping was completely overgrown and weedy. The pathways to the motel's rooms were even overgrown by the bushes. The rooms were clean, but definitely smelled musty/moldy. We were able to open all the windows, which helped a lot. The pool was pretty clean and nice, but a little cold for August. The owner was very friendly and accomodating. With a little more up-keep, it could be a great place to stay. But, for the price, I would probably recommend some place else.

“Very accommondating”

We had a baseball tournament July 4th weekend and had decided to stay at the Spring Hill Motor Lodge. It was a very welcoming place especially since this was a 9 yr old tournament and we had 13 families staying there.

The manager,Nasry was very accommondating. He was always asking if there is anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable. He even didn't charge us for the extra kids in our rooms which would be a considerable amount of income considering we had 13 families and also it was July 4th weekend too.

The pool area was perfect for what we needed. The kids had a ball and we would definitely bring another team there for another tournament.
