“Great as always”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011

I've lost track of how many times I've stayed at the Old Landing. Never been disappointed. The location is great, rooms comfortable, and of course as others have mentioned over and over, David, the owner, is the best host--and coffee barista!--around.

“Great motel right on the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

My girlfriend and I came here for an anniversary weekend getaway from CT. It is a charming small-scale hotel located just steps away from a small, sandy, not-crowded beach. David, who owns the place, was gracious and made excellent cappuccinos for us. The hotel was clean, quiet, and roomy. It is not some ritzy luxury resort, but it is in good condition with nice beds, a refrigerator, plenty of towels, and great cleaning service daily. For our $80 a night off-season rate, the value was just incredible. I would have been happy to happy $150! We will definitely come back next year!

Room Tip: They all look fairly equivalent!

“Absolutely perfect beachside motel with outstanding service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011 via mobile

Our time at this motel was perfect. David, the inn keeper, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He makes fabulous Illy cappuccino for you in the morning and even sent us on our car trip home with afternoon cappuccinos and biscotti! The rooms are immaculate with nice bed linens, comfortable new mattresses, and tons of pillows. There was a wonderful sea breeze through our room when we opened the many windows. The beach is just steps away! I'm fairly picky about how clean places are and the Old Landing really impressed me. There's a nice pool and chairs and a small table outside of each unit which we used to eat breakfast! We came for a fall weekend of biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trail which is just a mile from the motel. The motel is in a perfect location -- not only steps from the beach and bike trails but close to great brunch places, restaurants, and fun things like mini golf, whale watching, cranberry bog tours etc. By far this is the best value for a wonderful hotel I've EVER stayed in and I've done my fair share of traveling. Many kudos to David -- what a gem -- we look forward to returning soon and we recommend it whole-heartedly!

The Old Landing is a small place with a friendly manager and very well situated in the center of the Cape. Il's an old style motel but very clean. We had an ocean view room, and we could smell and hear the ocean. The beach is not the nicest of the Cape but you can go everywhere in few minutes driving.
At this price, it is a good bargain. We will come back for sure.
