“Absolutely perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 June 2011

We stayed 22 May '11 thru 29 May in Cottage 9. This immaculate cottage was just close enough to the beach, far enough away from the prom/commencement celebrations on Chase. Met many couples with similar interests, and look forward to seeing them again next year. Weather cool enough for a cozy fire daily, warm enough for me to get a sunburn(I should know better, we live in Ft Lauderdale now) People very friendly, staff on point with any questions or suggestions; Clancy's a fantastic restaurant. Most places weren't open for business until Memorial Day, so we did a lot of cooking. We travel a lot, and this was the PERFECT place to relax. 2 weeks next year! “The perfect oceanside getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2010

Spent a wonderful week at Dennis Seashores this past October. The crowds had gone but the weather was nice and the ocean beautiful. No swimming, but walking the beach and watching the sunsets from the private beach were spectacular! Cheaper rates this time of year and plenty to do without the traffic. Will come again next Fall, or maybe even next spring.

“Got exactly what we wanted.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2010

We wanted a relaxing quiet place by the beach but not isolated from everything. We wanted a reasonably priced, clean cabin with all the things you need when you are travelling by suitcase. And that's what we got.
Dennis Seashores afforded us a private beach steps away which was great. It was ideally located on the Cape and a great base for trips out. No shops or affordable restaurants at Dennis though, not that this was a problem as a short car journey took us to the restaurants, shopping centres and anything else we needed. In fact we were glad not to be in one of the more obvious 'holiday centres'. We mainly ate at the cabin and made use of the small bbq's and outside table.
I booked by email using their website and John the owner was brillant. Really helpful and friendly, he even popped in to say hello when we arrived. Our cabin I think was the smallest and feeling its age a little, but a new deck was great and it was perfectly OK for our needs. Plus it was very affordable. There were bigger cabins on the site and shiner ones!
A safe small beach, a basic cabin and a smile. Not the place to go if you want shops, restaurants and liveliness. But great if you want something a little quieter oh and plenty of families around too.

“The way the Cape should be”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2010

I have been staying at Dennis Seashores for many years. This is a cluster of cottages in a great location. The cottages vary in amenities, number of bedrooms and styles. I believe all cottages have either full or galley kitchens. Depending on the cottage you rent, the beach is either right outside your door or just across the street. With the Cape being so crowded these days, its nice to stay at a place where you don't have to go out and drive in traffic if you don't want to. You can just grab your book and a chair and relax on the beach.

If you want to venture out, the Sundae School is walking distance for great ice cream. You are also a quick drive to Chapin's Fish and Chips. For more formal dining, The Ocean House is a minute away. (I haven't been myself but have heard its nice). Being located mid-cape you are also not far from Harwichport and even Chatham.

We always rent the same week with other families who have also been going there for years. We have formed some great friendships and memories over the years. There is towel exchange once a day at the windmill and the staff Andrea and Louise are excellent! They are very knowledgeable about the area and happy to give recommendations.

This is a quaint, cozy and comfortable place to relax and unwind. I know we plan on going back again next year.

“Awesome time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2010

My family and I rented a small cottage this past July; and we will definately return! The beach was amazing, the staff, John, Andrea and Louise were the nicest and most accomodating people! They gave us tips on restaurants, played with our kids, and John was informative about the area. The other renters were like family by the time we left, Thanks to all who made our family vacation memorable! We love Cape Cod!!!
