“Be Forwarned”

I say this because it is mostly a "homeless shelter" and it is not the homeless that is the issue..... it's the Management or lack there of to keep this place decent for homeless people to live. They have lost control of the activities that goes on here. The people who live here don't have a place to live, understood. My heart goes out to them, but it is the responsibility for the Management to make it a safe place and if they have losers who causes trouble and destruction they need to apply the one strick rule and restrict them from the property. They are getting plenty of money from the Goverment to hire security and also to keep the place looking decent. It is a dump, bottom line, it's not the homeless people that make it that way, it's Management, plain and simple. They just doing it for the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps the most disgusting place I've ever had the displeasure of setting foot in. I checked out immediately. Check out photo of the meth stove/heater in the room...

“Oh My.......”

Got a couple of rooms with friends after the James Taylor show at Tanglewood. It's hard to believe this little oasis of scum and sketchy-ness is located in the beautiful Berkshires. The girl at the front desk was very nice at check-in. It was all downhill from there. There was not one single light bulb in any of the fixtures in our room. The carpet was sticky. The shower head was located mid-chest and I'm only 5'10. The remote for the tv had only one of the two required for it to work....why they didn't steal both is still a puzzle for me..... sketchy people seemed to be around every corner......none of the exterior doors were locked at night......we went outside to check out the pool which was covered by a big black tarp (no water in it). While outside, we noticed that the room next t ours had a large rock thrown through it's window. The continental breakfast had dried out english muffins stacked in a pyramid formation.... I'm not real fussy, but this would be a place to avoid.....

“an overnight for Six Flags”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2010

We chose this place because it's dog-friendly, good walking area out front for pup, cheap and close to six flags. It's a motel, modest and fine for our needs. Room had 2 dbl beds, small frig, microwave, tv, granite sink area (only thing updated) AC worked fine. We dropped off our things and our dog and went to six flags. Came back, slept and went to six flags again. It met our needs for this sort of trip with our 11 yo son. It was a non-smoking room and did smell musty/smokey. We brought drinks, snacks and food for sandwiches to take to Six Flags because it's SO expensive to buy food there.... $9.99 for a hamburger! and $15.00 to park....so, this place met our needs for sleep, price, nothing fancy, dog and child !!

“smells like mold”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 April 2010

The good: Right next to an awesome 50's diner. Right off the Mass Pike. Nice outdoor pool and many 1st floor rooms open right out onto the pool area. Staff are pretty nice. The bad: It's kinda a dumpy, funky smelling place. Wouldn't describe it as scary... but yeah, not cozy either. Don't stay here if you can afford better, seriously. Certainly don't stay here if it's more than one or two nights. Beds are hard. Hotel runs out of hot water some mornings. Smells like mold. There's an older guy who sits in the breakfast room every morning staring at people eat. I think he's there to make sure no one "steals" breakfast food. Creepy.
