“Beautiful Place”

This was not our first trip to the Chatham Bars Inn. My husband planned this weekend to celebrate my birthday. As always, we were not disappointed. We had dinner and breakfast and both the food and the service was excellent. But, I think the best thing about this hotel is the ocean view. We stayed in the Main Inn and had a lovely ocean-front room. In fact, even though it was January, we had our morning coffee out on our deck. It was so beautiful to just relax out there and take in the breathtaking view. Only one hitch, and that was when we checked in. The check-in time was 4 pm and we arrived at 3:50. We were told our room was not ready and so we told them we would wait in the large sitting room by the lobby. Around 4:20, I went up to the desk to see if I could find out how much longer it would be, and was told that the room was ready, and that they had looked for us, but couldn't find us. We were sitting exactly where we told them. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back again.

Room Tip: Definitely ask for one with an ocean view

“Amazing Stay at CBI in Ocean Spray Cottage”

Over the holidays I was lucky enough to stay in CBI's Ocean Spray Cottage-- and what an experience that was! The cottage wasnt just beautiful, but more like luxurious. The cottage was spacious and clearly newly updated, it had two fireplaces, comfortable bed, and the open ceilings provide tons of natural light. The view from our cottage couldnt have been better, we were literally at the water's edge, with the only things separating us from the beach was a beautifully manicured lawn complete with a bocce and croquet court. This room provides as much privacy as you would like, with the convenience of the beach, tennis courts, main building and restaurants still within a few steps away. All in all we had a fabulous stay, and I would expect nothing less from the exceptional Chatham Bars Inn.

“Magical!”

We had a magical romantic weekend getaway at CBI thanks to the wonderful staff - more specifically, Kathi Rogers, Michael Duff and Elena Peterson.
Being at CBI was like traveling in time - back to The Great Gatsby days - the old glamour.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We will definitely be back...

Room Tip: I highly recommend the rooms in the Main Inn.

A very special place to reconnect....esp. in Winter months. I can see why visitors would enjoy their summer vacation here....like the Carribean in the Northeast. (Luckily, I live here).The place is like Disney World. Everything is perfect....staff is so pleasant and surroundings are wonderful.The breakfast buffet on Sunday is incredible....offerings are above and beyond my expectations. I chose the continental which had everything I could ever want or imagine....Yum! The beach is a short walk across the street...or a short drive to lovely Lighthouse Beach....and downtown is always a fun browse. Next time I'd love to check out the much acclaimed Spa.

Room Tip: we stayed in the main part,not the cottages. The lobby, porch and fireside areas are lovely and ple...
