“Fabulous Stay!”

we made last minute reservations at this inn for a one night stay on New Year's Eve so we could enjoy First Night in Chatham. We got there early and were allowed to check in...Manager was very pleasant and made sure we knew all about activities for the day. This inn is a short walk from Main Street Chatham. The placed us right across the hall from our friends. The room was very very comfortable, plenty of room in the bathroom, and even tho we spent little time in our rooms all amenities were perfect. This inn is a great location whether you are planning a short or longer stay. Cute little lounge and bar open in the evening and great breafast room , with breakfast included with your room price. HIGHLY recommend this inn!

Room Tip: the building we stayed in did not have an elevator. others might . so if you have special needs.mak...

“Beautiful spot in Downtown Chatham for a quiet getaway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

My husband and I had a relaxing getaway to Chatham over the New Year's weekend. We stayed at the Bradford for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is situated just off Main street. It is an easy walk to all of the cute shops downtown, so you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. Though lots of the shops were now closed for the off season, several were still open. It's a quick drive down to the lighthouse and the beach.

Our room was well decorated an offered lots of space. We had a suite which consisted of a sitting room and separate bedroom. The sitting room had two comfortable chairs and a flat screen TV along with a charming little window seat with windows on three sides from which we could sit and look at the steeple of the church down the street and the passersby walking to the New Years events on Main street. The bath had a large jetted tub and separate shower. The bedroom was nicely furnished and spotless.

The main building had a cute little pub area which was decked out for the holiday and they supplied all kinds of noise makers and beads, etc for the final countdown. The breakfast was a nice continental breakfast in the dining room and included baked goods, coffee, lovely fresh fruit and Stonyfield organic yogurt (nice touch). The staff was very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions for things to do in the area, and for dining.

If you haven't been to Chatham in the off season, it's worth the drive for a quiet weekend in a beautiful little seaside town.

“Pleasant Inn”

Stayed in a what appeared to be a new two story building at the back of the property. The receptionist was very pleasant and check-in was quick. The room with queen bed was clean, modern and good size with a large bath. Only complaint was with the pillows which were synthetic sponge not feather. I imagine the location is relatively quiet during the high season but in October it's down right silent. Short walk down the block and around the corner to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was adequate.

“A great boutique hotel in a good location”

We stayed at the Bradford Inn mid-Sept and really loved it. The accommodations are first class, the staff very friendly, great amenities and the breakfasts very enjoyable. The Inn is a two-minute walk to the local shops and restaurants. I would recommend the Inn to everyone except for families with small children.

Room Tip: The two-bedded rooms on the ground floor with walk-out patio are good value for money.

“Bradford Inn, Chatham”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

We stayed for 2 nights in mid-October, after Columbus Day, so a lot of places were closed in town. Our room was in the main building, over reception and very comfortable, although I didn't realise what good visibility into our room was given by the low windows below the sloped ceiling (see top right of the photo)! The decoration was a little bland, but clean and fresh. I have to say that the reception service was really excellent. We arrived in pouring rain which continued into the next morning and we wondered what to do but at breakfast the receptionist had already planned an itinerary for the day to get the most out of our short visit, and we even found some sunshine. We drove down to the beach at the end of Main Road and saw seals in the water, which was a highlight for us.
