The Carriage House Inn is a fantastic bed and breakfast. My fiance and I spent New Years Eve here and I cannot say enough good things about this place. The rooms are extremely clean, the breakfasts are unbelievable, and Jim and Val are lovely hosts. I highly recommend the Carriage House Inn.

My wife and I spent our "baby moon" at the Carriage House Inn this past summer and had an incredible time. We've stayed at the Carriage House Inn before, but this was the first time with new owners, Jim and Val. They were absolutely outstanding. Both of them are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Jim gave some remarkable dining and beach recommendations and treated us like we were family.

They went out of there way in so many different ways to make our trip extra enjoyable and you could tell that they did so because they wanted to, not because they felt obligated. They run an amazing bed and breakfast. Val cooks up some of the best breakfast food I've ever had and they always keep plenty of snacks and drinks handy. It's also great that they have beach bags, chairs, and towels on site so you don't have to worry about bringing your own. They take care of everything! We cannot say enough about them and their wonderful B&B, which is super nice, clean, and comfortable. There is simply no other choice when it comes to staying in Chatham. You have to stay at the Carriage House Inn!

I don't think there's anything I can add that hasn't already been said. We stayed 2 nights at Carriage House Inn over New Years. Val and Jim were exceptional hosts. Jim gave us great tips on what to do and where to go to make the most of our short trip and Val's great homemade breakfasts ensured that we had the energy to do it all! The house was also beautifully festive both indoors and out.
We stayed in room 6 which is apparently a favourite. It had its own private entrance. The decor was very New England and the bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We loved having the fireplace at a flick of a switch and even got to make use of the large DVD selection available to guests.
What really makes the Carriage House Inn stand out are definitely the hosts and the little touches they put in to enhance your stay such as the fresh cookies in the dining room every afternoon, the umbrella in the room in case it rains and the make up removing wipes in the bathroom.
I'd definitely recommend a stay here if you get the chance!

Well what can we say ?. We arrived on the Cape for a few days rest and relaxation and the location, standard of the inn and service did not disappoint us. Both Jim and Val put themselves out to enhance your trip but do it in a very sutble way as not to intrude on any pre-made plans that you may have. From the moment we checked in, Big Jim walks you through the facilities and answers any questions you may have with great enthusiasm. As we were out of season (best time in our opinion, as you can drive and visit places without hassle), there was no probs with booking restuarants but recomendation from the proprieters are very welcome. We tried them all and not a bad meal had !! The breakfasts were huge and the diet went out of the window all homemade and 1st class in the taste department. We will visit the Cape again and The Carrage Inn will be where we will stay, hopefully in the near future. If you want to stay in a lifeless hotel where once you get the room key the next interaction from the staff is at check-out then this inn IS NOT FOR YOU, but if you want to experience good old fashioned homely service and the best that the good old USA can offer, then COME ON DOWN and visit, its worth every penny. As we mentioned, "we arrived as guests and left as friends". PS, dont mention the coffee !
