My family and I stayed at Chatham Seafarer the first week in August 2011 for 4 nights to celebrate my daughter's second birthday. Then, we drove up to Boston for the rest of our week long family vacation - - more on that later. Check-in at Chatham Seafarer was a breeze. Annie the owner was so friendly, especially to our daughter. The hotel keeps a supply of toys for the pool and the nearby beach that hotel guests can use at their leisure. In order to pack light and not have to check-in baggage at the airport, we planned to buy beach towels at Cape Cod. But the owner graciously asked if we had brought beach towels and when we said no, she provided 3 big plush beach towels for us to use during our stay. The room that we stayed in was very roomy and has a kitchenette which we used everyday. We took a pleasant walk to the nearby beach with our daughter in a stroller. We also used the hotel pool everyday as well. The main reason why I'm submitting my very first hotel review ever is because when we checked out and drove our rental car to Boston, we got a call from Annie. We apparently left our house and car keys in a drawer. Housekeeping had found it and immediately informed Annie. Annie was very helpful and mailed it Express mail to where we were staying in Boston. We didn't have to pay for another car rental to drive back to Cape Cod to retrieve our keys. This would have spoiled and inconvenienced our trip to Boston a bit - - considering we may have been late to the Red Sox game we went to the first night of our stay in Boston. Plus, we probably would not have noticed our house/car keys were missing until we took our flight back home. Thank you sooo much Annie and Chatham Seafarer!

It's hard to find a hotel/motel in Chatham for one night during the summer rush but the Chatham Seafarer offered a decent room fairly close to town center. The bathroom was quite small and cramped for the 4 of us, but for one night, it work just fine. The room was clean and the beds were comforable.

A wonderfully unpretentious old-school motel outside of downtown Chatham. Not a chain, this mom and pop operation has a delightfully personable owner/manager who ads a bit of a European flair to old Cape Cod. We loved it!

We stayed at the Chatham Seaferer motel for 5 nights on a family vacation. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the manager/owner really makes the guests feel welcome. The motel grounds include very nice swimming pool and is surrounded by beautiful trees. Location is very convenient to the beach (15 minute walk ), a short drive to the quaint and lively Chatham center with numerous boutiques and restaurants and within a short distance from an ice cream shop which has the most delicious ice cream we tried in a while.
