“Cozy and Convenient”

We had a very pleasant stay at the Queen Ann Inn. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They provided us everything from directions to a short history of the inn. We stayed in a Village Room and thought it was a great combination of charming and comfortable. The whole inn was so picturesque. Loved how close it was to all shopping and the beach. Really enjoyed the delightful breakfast. Thanks for the hospitality!

“Fabulous getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

We stayed here over New Year's Eve and the place couldn't have been more perfect. We had a wine and cheese reception on Friday night, great buffet dinner, and the room was cozy and so comfortable. The location was great, within walking distance to all the great shops in Chatham. The service was wonderful, Karen was so sweet and so accomodating I wanted to stay forever. On New Year's Eve, we did First Night and watched a great display of fireworks over the pond ....a perfect start of the New Year!

“A Gem of an Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

This was our first visit to Chatham. We came to "scout" the area for restaurants and hotels for guests to our son's wedding next September. The Queen Anne was a wonderful introduction to Chatham. The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful during our 3 nite stay. The Inn is the perfect combination of old world charm and beautiful antiques with updated amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“A wonderful Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2011

This was my first time at the Queen Anne Inn, and it was wonderful.. My father and I came for a father-daughter weekend while I am visiting in the USA.. When we arrived they offered to upgrade us to a bigger room at no charge.. The service was wonderful, and everyone was so nice, anything we asked for they did, no questions asked.. The room was so beautiful and spacious, and I love the bathrobes they had for each person.. In the evening before we went to dinner they had wine and nuts for us in the lounge which was lovely.. The beds were so comfortable and the only thing I didn't like was the fact that we only stayed for one night... Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the youn lady serving the breakfast was so sweet and lovely, all the staff were really nice and generous.. We will definately be coming back here on our next visit to the Cape with my Mother and brother.. Thank you Queen Anne for a wonderful experience, I will reccomend this place to everyone..

Room Tip: All the rooms are amazing

“Overpriced, musty and uncomfortable”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011 via mobile

Stayed here aug 2011 - booked it via travel agent - thought for the price we were getting a decent hotel but this place is really charging double what it should. We booked garden room to fit 3 but were only given a village room to cram us in - next to the road with the fishermen bombing past in their SUVs early morning. Hotel said the downgrade was travel agents fault - which as it turned out meant it was my fault not the hotel's. They were friendly enough telling me i'd paid a small fortune for a tiny room for 3 people furnished with the sort of furniture my granny might have had in 1950. So if you want old world musty charm with minimal facilities but at world city centre prices then come here. If you don't then book somewhere else. To put it into context we went to Washington DC next where we had a room in a hotel 100 (yes I mean 100) times better for 2/3 of the price of this one. Yes I know the argument is that Chatham and new England in the summer is expensive - but there's expensive and value for money and expensive and a not value for money - I'm afraid the queen Anne inn is the latter.

We cannot agree with the writer’s statement, because it simply doesn’t present he facts. The facts are: The guests came with a reservation made by a Travel Agent for a Standard Room without a balcony and presented a written confirmation at check-in again stating the same: Standard Room with 2 Double beds.
The guests were taken to their room and checked-in without any complaints or complications.
The next morning the guests had realized that we also had rooms with balconies and requested to be moved to one of them at the Front Desk.
We offer complimentary upgrades all he time and encourage our guests to take advantage. This gesture, however, can be offered only when we have the availability to do so. By all means, ask upon arrival if an upgrade is available, but don’t hold it against us when you are welcome to the room which has been confirmed to you in writing.
As to our guest’s comment about the room itself and the furniture: We proudly display not old, but original Cape Cod antiques throughout the inn and if at any point it reminded the writer of his granny’s house, so much for the better.
Sincerely,
Petya Feeney
