My family is made of approx 25 people with ages ranging from 2-75 olds old. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. My family was the main hosts staying in the suite and were able to cook large meals and have everyone congregate in our suite. Our family took up the majority of the place. The service was good. They don't have the office open in the evening, but it kinda makes sense since it is such a small quaint place. I've stayed at few other places on the cape and paid a lot more money to stay on a main road with no view or accommodations. Location is perfect for accessibility and amazing views. The beach so peaceful at 5pm and you feel like it’s your own private beach. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We had a nice flat screen tv with cable and wifi access. The rest of our family stayed in the regular rooms and had no problems with cleanliness or services. I'm writing this because I noticed "Put an X on our door"s comment and I just find it really hard to believe. I did notice they mentioned staying during a nor eastor and that could explain something’s. But I absolutely love going the Ocean View and think the staff and owners have done a great job and continue to do so. Our family has decided to have our family reunion at the Ocean View every year from now on. We are all excited about this new family tradition.

Last year, 2009, perfect, but this year was totally the opposite. Didn't see any help whatsoever. The lady that used to be at the office desk wasn't there any of the time. Gone. Maids....gone. The owner, Ray would give empty your trash and give you a bath towel, hand towel and washcloth. Beds weren't made. NO CABLE...although there is a cable guide on the bed stand. He said he 'changed companies". Bull! He got rid of cable, therefore..how can you get WiFi? I tried calling a local number on the phone. No dial tone. Picked phone up...no phone cords. Just a phone sitting on the bedside table. The following morning I confronted him with these supposed accommodations. He did hook up the phone for me. If I wanted to order food from the restaurant around the corner, (very local call) I could call. Wrong! I had to either charge the local call to my home phone or use my credit card. Next year he intends to put in an ice machine so people can buy ice. I don't know what happened to all the help, but I have my suspicions. Either he let them go to save money....or they all left. Strange. Anyhow...the first year was nice when the place had a phone and cable and Maid service. (PS: We were there when the Nor'easter hit. Rain and very, very strong winds...but nice the day we left.) That wouldn't have made any difference if the place hadn't been so run down from the year before. It's a shame. It use to be a nice place.

Small room, small bathroom, small fridge, beds had beach sand on them, wifi NEVER worked! no microwave, coffee pot had bugs in it! Nice view of the beach though.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was directly across from the beach, the room was clean and the employees were really great.
