My husband and I recently stayed in the Vineyard Room for two nights to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We're still congratulating ourselves on our choice. This inn is an absolutely wonderful place for a romantic Cape Cod getaway! Karen and Rich are warm and welcoming hosts. The Vineyard room is spacious and lovely with great attention to detail --- beautiful decor, great gas fireplace, uber-comfortable bed, luxurious bedding. And as other reviewers have pointed out, Karen's breakfasts are gourmet delights. We'd give The Old Manse ten stars if there were such a rating.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Admiral Suite while visiting Brewster for a friends wedding. The Suite was very clean and cozy, Karen cooked an AMAZING breakfast (Blueberry stuffed french toast. YUM!), and their dog Maggie was so friendly and cute! Would definitely stay here again!

Karen and Rich are wonderful innkeepers. Their hospitality was second to none. We stayed in room 3 which was nice although the bathroom was a little small. We were made aware of this before we committed to OMI. The road noise was a little more than we prefer so maybe we will try the back rooms next time. The bed and fireplace were very comforting. Karen makes a great breakfast and Rich gave us some great advice on places to see. We would definitely stay at this B&B again.

We stayed in eight locations on a tour of New England in the Fall and this one was outstanding. Warm welcome from Rich & Karen, comfortable room & guest sitting room with complimentary coffee, sherry and port always available. Breakfast more ambitious than we expected, but delicious all the same. Perhaps a suggestion might be to offer more simple fare to those not used to large cooked starts to the day?
Plenty of advice from Rich about the area - don't miss the Brewster Chowder House experience! My wife has a fear of dogs, but Maggie was no problem, just a gentle welcome then ignored us.

PS - what air conditioning? we were in the Chart Room on the first floor at the front , had no problem with road noise but the room was too hot with the stove on pilot.
