I went to Cape Cod for a wedding. I called the hotel suggested to me by the wedding party but it was full. The hotel suggested several small B & Bs. I called the Bramble Inn first. They had the room available for our nights needed so we stay there. I had absolutely no expectations since I did not know anything about the inn. What a pleasant surprise. It's a gorgeous, quaint and sophisticated inn. We had 3 nights. 2 of which we were involved with the wedding. Our available night we spent eating at the inn. Exquisit! The meal was simply superb. All lovely ladies serving delicious food. I couldn't tell you who our server was, so many of them manned our table without missing a beat. Nothing was every duplicated. No question asked twice. The food we ordered was delivered in an unhurried rush. We had a dining experience never to be forgotten. Quality food, exquisitly adorned the plates served to us by gorgeous ladies in black and lace. Go to the Bramble Inn and you will not be disappointed. I have and will continue to recommend it anyone going to Cape Cod, Brewster.

The big draw here is the chef who has glowing reviews and national credentials. But the actual dinners currently being served are not of the quality one would get at a restaurant in Boston for the same price. An example is the chicken that was served one night. It had the same thickness and consistency of your typical supermarket chicken. I actually wondered if the chef was supervising or not. The staff is for the most part attentive and friendly but with some notable exceptions, for example where the waiter wandered off and didn't show up again before we left. Overall a charming property but it really seems like the owners have gone off the case... and we certainly found better food for less elsewhere. There are a lot of good choices in the area.

My husband and I stayed at the Bramble Inn last year after he road 200 miles on his bicycle for charity. The inn was very comfortable and the hosts were exceptional. We did have dinner the first night at the inn - and the food was good.

We tried to stay there again this year, but they were booked. We stayed at the Captain Freeman Inn (see my comments there) instead.

Visiting from Australia heard about the Bramble Inn, decided to stay there 3 days on my visit to the cape. I couldn't have choosen a better place. Individual rooms beautifully decorated. My four poster bed was the best thing i slept in all my holiday. The rooms are really comfy have everthing you need, great bathrooms , its a great old building and the floors slope like Victorian English houses, its so authentic. However all this is nothing compared to the dinner, as a chef obviously i have a high standard but i am happy to report the Bramble Inn and their fine chefs surpassed anything i expected. The dinner was superb, fabulous value for money, delicious combinations, not overcomplicated and really great service, this place is not what you'd expect and delivers way beyond expectations. Go there see for yourself it rocks.......
