The big draw here is the chef who has glowing reviews and national credentials. But the actual dinners currently being served are not of the quality one would get at a restaurant in Boston for the same price. An example is the chicken that was served one night. It had the same thickness and consistency of your typical supermarket chicken. I actually wondered if the chef was supervising or not. The staff is for the most part attentive and friendly but with some notable exceptions, for example where the waiter wandered off and didn't show up again before we left. Overall a charming property but it really seems like the owners have gone off the case... and we certainly found better food for less elsewhere. There are a lot of good choices in the area.
