Stay here if you are a smoker - and an insomniac! During the frinedly check-in, I learned that my advance request for a non-smoking room on the top floor could not be accommodated. I stayed on the second floor, and thus could listen to the trampling and jumping in the room above mine - all night long. The air ducts in the suite's bathroom apparently connect directly to other rooms, and I was overjoyed when my non-smoking room filled with cigarette smell. Fortunately, the hotel did not have a fire that night, since my smoke detector was lying in the nigh desk drawer. If you are fond of days long gone by, rejoice! This hotel has dial-up internet and the front desk has a large selection of tapes to play in your room's historic VCR player. If the noise from your neighboring guests will not keep you awake, the droning sound from various A/C units around you will make up for it. And - thou' shall not walk on the carpet wearing light colored socks - enough said!

Business trip for 4 nights. Everything went smoothly, from reservations to checkout. Easy to locate and central to my business needs - with a mall and restaurants nearby. Wi-Fi and Kitchenette in room with a mini-convenience store near the lobby. I will stay at this location again because you can not beat the value for the cost of the room!

Candlewood Suites, Braintree had no bedbugs because, as my colleague said, even bedbugs have standards. I had a "no-smoking" room on the 4th floor (Room 436) yet had to walk through a smoke-filled hallway to get to my room. In the living room of the suite, the A/C unit had separated from itself and the A/C vent cover in the bedroom fell off the wall. The baseboard trim in the bedroom was unglued and flopped over on the rug. The sofa in the living room and chairs with fabric covers were stained. The kitchen floor was sticky. The shower worked well and I'm pleased to report the shower curtain didn't have mold on it. This place feels like the maintenance crew has been on strike for ...the last few years. The place feels dirty, worn and falling apart. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a reasonably priced accomodation--you deserve better than this!

This facility is clean and average nothing fancy or any wow factor, I had to stay here because all the other nicer hotels were full and this was only reasonable place left to sleep no complaints or anything a clean place to rest.
