We stayed here for two nights with another couple in mid september, once the rush of the season had past. The house is a quaint, typical New England home, lots of wooden furniture, books and nik-naks, quilted comforters and a lovely comfortable bed. The hosts, Tom and Rita, did everything they could to make us welcome and sat and chatted with us over breakfast and gave us some good tips for exploring cape cod. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet, chilled break. If you want modern and clinical and posh, I would suggest this place is not for you, but if it's comfortable, relaxed and quaint you're looking for at a reasonable price for the Cape then you won't find much better than this lovely b and b. We booked through Bed and Breakfast Cape Cod who were also really helpful. Thanks for a lovely time!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with hosts Tom and Rita and they did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one .
The house is in a very convenient place for travel to the Cape , Boston and Plymouth .

My husband and I came from out of state for a wedding just outside Boston and decided to make a long weekend of it to enjoy the Cape. We were looking for a place to stay that would be easily accesible to the Cape and Boston, clean, and yet not too expensive. We stumbled upon the Holly House as we were looking through reviews on the internet. While there weren't many reviews, all the reviews had said it was wonderful. We decided to take a chance and were glad we did. Tom and Rita couldn't have been nicer. They were friendly without being intrusive. The room was cozy, relatively large, clean and airy. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast always had something homemade and tasty. If I had to find something to fault, it was that even if we did have our own large private bath(it was roughly the size of the bedroom) , it was not en suite and the shower was a little old (worked fine). But these were minor things - we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would go back without hesitation.
